Supplies

Scrap kit of choice - I am using "First Bite" by Oopsie Daisy available from Totally Sweet Designs and Stargazer Scraps
Tube of choice - I am using a free poser tube by Outlaw Designs
sg_feather-edge Mask here
Fonts of choice - I am using LD Twylight and A&S Snapper Script
Plugins: Mura Meister > Copies
Eye Candy 4000 > Gradient Glow
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact > Gradient Glow


Let's begin...


Open a new 600 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste RubyStar as new layer
Resize by 50%

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Effects > Plugins > Mura Meister > Copies with the following settings:


Paste Journal1 as new layer
Resize by 35%
Paste Glitpprborder as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position towards bottom of Journal layer

Paste Floral2 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 15 to the left
Resize by 35%
Position to the lower left
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror

Paste some Blood Spatter and move to bottom layer


Paste Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position

Depending on the tube you use you may have to do the following steps:
Select outside the Journal tag layer with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2
Use your Eraser Tool to erase excess
Deselect


Now paste the Apple as new layer
Resize by 25% and position to the lower left or right (depending on your tube) BEHIND your Tube layer


Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply sg_feather-edge
Ok
Layers > Merge > Merge Group
Resize by 86%
Lower opacity to 50

Crop and resize to 500 x 500
Image > Canvas Resize 550 x 550

Make sure the background colour is white
Select your Preset Shape Tool and set to Ellipse
Foreground - #000000
Background - null

Hold your shift key and draw out a Circle around your tag
(holding shift ensures the shape is drawn symmetrically)
Objects > Align > Centre in Canvas

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using LD Twylight
Text colour black

On the curve type out your text of choice



Open your Layer Palette and Vector Layer
Close off the Ellipse then convert to raster layer
Lower opacity to 35

Select another font of choice
I am using A&S Snapper Script
Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer

Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy > Gradient Glow with the following settings:



Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!


** IF YOU WISH TO ANIMATE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE NEXT STEPS **

Activate your Tube layer and zoom in on the eyes
Select your Magic Wand and click once in the pupils of each eye
It will only be a very small area as we don't want too much


Add a new raster layer
Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact > Gradient Glow with the following settings:


Deselect

Set blend mode to Screen then duplicate
Rename Eyes1 and Eyes2

Now to animate!

Hide Eyes2 keeping Eyes1 visible
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP
Activate Eyes2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Select All and change Frame Properties to 50
Now save as a GIF and you're done!

Let's begin...


Open a new 750 x 500 blank canvas flood-filled white

In your Materials Palette set your Foreground to #000000

Select your Selection Tool to Rounded Rectangle
Draw out a rectangle to your liking
Add a new raster layer
Flood fill with your Foreground colour

KEEP SELECTED!!

Selections > Modify > Contract by 15
Press delete then deselect

Effect > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact > Glass with the following settings:



Select inside your new Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 8
Paste a paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Move Down (below Frame)
Resize by 70%
Selections > Invert
Delete then deselect

Paste RedChromeSwirl as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position to the lower right
Duplicate then Image > Mirror
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste HeartEmb3 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 30 to the left
Resize by 33%
Position at the centre of the Chrome Swirls


Paste RedRibbonIvy as new layer
Resize by 80%
Position slightly to the left

Select your Eraser Tool and carefully erase the excess ribbon and ivy
So you have something a little like this:


Paste Floral5 as new layer
Image > Mirror
Image > Rotate by 6 to the left
Resize by 30%
Position along the bottom of the heart, swirl and frame

Use your erase to remove excess stem

Paste Apple as new layer
Resize by 15%
Position beside heart

Paste HeartEmb1 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 5 to the right
Resize by 12%
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Position them in the upper right

Select inside the RibbonFrame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 2

Paste Image of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position
Selections > Invert
Delete excess and deselect

Duplicate layer

Effects > Plugins > Xero > Radiance with the default settings
Lower opacity to 50

Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply UFMask4
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Group
Lower opacity to 35

Effects > Plugins > PhotoEffex > Scanlines with default setting

Crop and resize to liking

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Bickham Script Pro Regular
Text Colour to match tag - I am using #400000

Type out text of choice
Position to liking then convert to raster layer

Select another font of choice
I am using the same script
Text colour slightly lighter - #860c0e

Type out name and position
Convert to raster layer

Effects > Plugins > Greg Factory Output2 > Pool Shadow

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!


** IF YOU WISH TO ANIMATE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE NEXT STEPS **

Activate your Mask layer
Duplicate twice and name Shadow1, Shadow2 and Shadow3

Activate Shadow1

Effects > Plugins > Greg Factory Output 2 > Pool Shadow with the following settings:



Hide Shadow1 and activate Shadow2
Repeat Shadow effect, adjusting the settings from 70 to 90

Hide Shadow2 and activate Shadow3
Repeat Shadow effect, adjusting from 90 to 110

Now to animate!

Activate Shadow1 and hide the other two Shadow layers
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP
Hide Shadow1 and activate Shadow2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Shadow2 and activate Shadow3
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Select all and change Frame Properties to 30
Now save as a GIF and you're done!

It's Not the End...



Supplies

Scrap kit of choice - I am using the gorgeous "Dance With Me Edward" by Oopsie Daisy available from Totally Sweet Designs and Stargazer Scraps
Images of choice - I am using two from the movie Twilight © Summit Entertainment
20-20 Mask (supplied)
Warped Mask (supplied)
Lace Strip (supplied)
Fonts of choice - Pablo LET and BakerScript



Let's begin...


Open a new 700 x 500 blank canvas flood-filled white

Open a Paper of choice and minimise

Select your Preset Shape Tool and set to Rectangle
Foreground - #000000
Background - Pattern

Click on the Background and set to your Paper of choice from the Patterns tab
Draw out a rectangle on your canvas
Objects > Align > Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer

Paste Raindrops as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position to the left
Duplicate then Image > Mirror

Use your Selection Tool to make a selection around the excess overlapping in the middle
Delete then deselect
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Lower the opacity to 20

Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:


Paste Frame3 as new layer
Resize by 40%
Position to the right

Select inside the Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Paste an Image of choice as new layer

Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Resize as necessary to fit inside Frame
Set blend mode to Luminance Legacy
Duplicate
Set blend mode to Normal and lower opacity to 40
Duplicate again, then
Set blend mode to Soft Light and opacity back to 100

Open another Image of choice
Before we paste it onto our canvas we are going to mist it with a Mask

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply 20-20 Mask
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Group

Paste new misted image as new layer
Resize as necesssary and position to the right of Frame
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Lower opacity to 45
Select the outer area of Rectangle with Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 2
Activate misted image and delete excess
Deselect


Paste ChromeSwirl as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position in lower left towards bottom of rectangle layer

Paste Lace strip (of choice or one I supplied) as new layer
Resize by 38%
Position in lower right along bottom of Rectangle
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste Floral1 as new layer
Resize by 20%
Position in lower left of Frame

Paste GemMoon as new layer
Resize by 60%
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Position behind Leaves and Floral1


Paste Leaves as new layer
Image > Mirror and resize by 30%
Position in lower right

Paste OwlBranch as new layer
Resize by 35%
Position over Leaves in lower right

Paste Floral2 as new layer
Resize by 20%
Position in lower left

Paste Floral5 as new layer
Resize by 15%
Position alongside Floral2

Paste Lights as new layer
Position to the upper right
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror, then Image > Flip
Place in position alongside first set of Lights
Layers > Merge > Merge Down


Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply Warped mask
Layers > Invert Mask Layer
Layers > Merge > Merge Group
Lower opacity to 30

Adjust > Blur > Radial Blur with the following settings:


Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Pablo LET (Bella's handwriting)
Text colour to match - I am using #181845

Type out text or quote of choice
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a drop shadow of choice

Select another font of choice
I am using Baker Script
Same Text colour

Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a drop shadow of choice

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!


** IF YOU WISH TO ANIMATE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE NEXT STEPS **

Activate your Lights layer
With your Magic Wand set to a Tolerance of 40 select every second bulb
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer

Adjust > Brightness & Contrast > Brightness/Contrast with the following settings:


Rename Lights1 and hide layer

Back to original Lights layer
Select every OTHER second bulb with Magic Wand
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer

Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the same settings as above, then
Brightness and Contrast with same settings again
Rename Lights2

Now for the animation!

Hide Lights2 and activate Lights1
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP
Hide Lights1 and activate Lights2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste AFTER Current Frame

Select all and set your Frame Properties to 30
Save as a GIF and you're done!

Plugins: Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation and Eye Candy 4000 Glass & Gradient Glow
 
 
Ready? Let's begin....
 
 
Open a new 700 x 700 blank canvas flood-filled white
 
Paste Frame4 as new layer
resize by 40%
 
LEAVE IN POSITION
 
Select your Preset Shape Tool and set to Rectangle
Foreground - colour of your choice
Background - null
 
Stroke width - 2.00
 
Draw out a rectangle symmetrically centred within the Frame
 
 
Convert to raster layer
Rename Sparkle (we'll come back to this layer)
 
Select your Preset Shape Tool again, still on Rectangle
Change your Foreground colour to another one of your choice
Background - null
 
Stroke width - 15.00
 
Draw out a rectangle inside the first rectangle - keep it centred
 
 
Convert to raster layer
 
Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel with the following settings:
 
 
Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > Glass with the following settings:
 
 
Paste your image of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Resize as necessary and position to your liking
Select the inside of your Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Selections > Invert
Delete and deselect
 
Paste Bow3 as new layer
Resize by 37% (depending on size of Frame)
Position along bottom of Frame
 
Select your Change to Target Brush with the following settings:
 
 
In your Material Palette set your Foreground to #56425f
 
Then carefully sweep your brush over your bow to colourise it slightly
 
Paste Cloud as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position in upper left
Set blend mode to Overlay
Duplicate then set blend mode to Soft light
 
Paste Birdcage as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position in upper right corner of Frame
 
Paste Ivy as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position along top of Frame
 
Paste one of the Violets as new layer
resize by 35%
Position in upper left
 
Adjust > Brightness/Contrast > Clarify with the Strength of Effect setting at: 10.00
Repeat once
 
Paste Floral1 as new layer
Resize by 20%
Position over Violet in upper left
 
With your Magic Wand set to a Tolerance of around 55, select the pink part of the rose so that it is all selected
 
 
Selections > Promote Selection to Layer
Select your Change to Target Brush once more with the same settings and colour
Brush over the rose then deselect
Lower the opacity of this layer to 60
 
 
Duplicate your Violet layer twice
Resize by 80%
Position both to the lower right of the Ribbon/Bow
 
Duplicate Floral1 twice
Resize by 80%
Position both over violets in lower right
 
Paste a couple of butterflies as new layers
Image > Rotate 25 to the left or right, depending on position
Resize each as necessary
Position to liking
 
Paste PinkAngelWings as new layer
Resize by 50%
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
 
Duplicate
Image > Mirror, then Image > Flip
 
You should have something like this:
 
 
Resize tag to your liking
 
Select your Preset Shape Tool again this time to Ellipse
Draw out a Circle to the upper left of your tag
 
Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Juice ITC
 
Set your Material Palette to:
Foreground - null
Background - colour of choice to match your tag (I am using #56425f)
 
On the curve of your circle type out the text of your choice
Position to your liking
 

Open your Vector Layer in your Layer Palette and turn off the Ellipse
Convert to raster layer
Apply a drop shadow of choice
 
Select your Text Tool again and another font of choice
I am using Alex Brush and the same colour
 
Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Add some slight noise, a Gradient Glow and drop shadow of choice
 
Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Activate the rectangle layer we drew and named Sparkle
Duplicate layer twice and rename Sparkle1, Sparkle2 and Sparkle3

Hide Sparkle1 and activate Sparkle2
Apply the Constellation effect, adjusting the Random Seed

Lil Miss Princess

 
 
Supplies
 
Scrap kit of choice - I am using two parts of the "Litte Miss Princess" theme kits from Exquisite Scraps by designers Oopsie Daisy and Bits n' Bobs
The Princess Word Art is from
Creative Intentionz part of the kit
Tube/Image/Photo of choice - I am using one of my own (and rather fitting for this kit I might add...lol)
Fonts of choice - I am using Hairspray
Plugin: Xero Fritillary
Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop
 
Ready? Let's begin....
 
 
Open a new 600 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white
 
Paste odn-lmp09-RibFrame
Resize by 25%
 
Paste your image or photo of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
(so image is below Frame)
**Duplicate and hide (optional if you wish to have your image protruding from Frame)**
 
Select your Freehand Tool and carefully draw around the inside ribbon of Frame
Selections > Invert
Delete then deselect
 
Activate your duplicated image
Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top
Lower opacity so you can see Frame behind image
 
Use Freehand Tool to draw around the subject in your image, choosing the points to protrude Frame
Selections > Invert
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2
Press delete two or three times
Deselect
 
Carefully erase any remaining excess so you should have something like this:
 
 
Paste some stars around your tag, resizing as necessary
(I used BNB-brad-3 and BNB-brad-6)
Hide all layers except stars
Layers > Merge > Merge Visble
Rename Stars Blur
Unhide other layers
Still on Stars Blur layer, go to
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
 
Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur with a Radius of 20.00
 
Activate top layer again
 
Paste some more stars around your Frame
Resize each as necessary
Hide all layers except stars
Layers > Merge > Merge Visble
Rename Stars
Lower opacity to 40
Unhide other layers
 
Paste Heart brads as new layers
(I used BNB-brad-1 and BNB-brad-4)
Resize both, the second slightly smaller than the first
Position together on the Frame
 
Paste a Crown as new layer
(I used BNB-princess-crown)
Resize by about 45% (depending on size of crown)
Position on the head of subject in your image/photo
 
 
Paste odn-lmp09-es-starblast as new layer
Rezie by 8%
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Position slightly to the right to your liking
 
Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:
 
 
Sharpen layer, then lower opacity to 45
 
Paste odn-lmp09-es-pinkstar
Resize by 30%
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Position directly behind Frame
 
Duplicate then apply the same Colourisation as above
Set Blend Mode to Overlay
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Lower opacity to 50
 
Effects > Texture Effects > Mosaic - Glass with the following settings:
 
 
Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur with a Radius of 20.00
 
Duplicate layer twice
Rename StarAni1, StarAni2 and StarAni3
 
Hide StarAni2 and StarAni3
Activate StarAni1
 
Effects > Plugins > Xero > Fritillary with the following settings:
 
 
Hide StarAni1 and activate StarAni2
Repeat Fritillary adjusting the Variation by 1
 
Hide StarAni2 and activate StarAni3
Repeat Fritillary adjusting the Variation by 1 again
 
Now activate the Princess Crown layer
With your Magic Wand select the areas on the points of the crown
Selections > Promote Selection to Layer
Duplicate twice
Deselect
 
Rename to Crown1, Crown2 and Crown3
 
Add some noise to each layer
Crown1 - 30
Crown2 - 35
Crown3 - 40
 
Add any other elements, drop shadows or Text you wish
 
Add your © copyright, licence and watermark
 
Now as there are so many animated layers let's set up the animation!!
 
First, hide the following layers:
StarAni2, StarAni3, Crown2 and Crown3
 
Edit > Copy Merged
Then Paste as NEW IMAGE
 
Now hide layers StarAni1 and Crown1
Unhide StarAni2 and Crown2
Edit > Copy Merged
 
Activate your NEW IMAGE
Edit > Paste as NEW LAYER
 
Finally, hide layers StarAni2 and Crown2
Unhide StarAni3 and Crown3
Edit > Copy Merged
Activate your NEW IMAGE again
Edit > Paste as NEW LAYER
 
You should now have a new image with THREE LAYERS
 
Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Hairspray
 
Set your Foreground and Background to the same colour (one from your tag)
I chose #503776
Stroke width - 2.00
 
Type out your name
Apply a slight Gradient Glow in white
 
To animate, hide Layers2 and 3
Edit > Copy Merged
 
Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation
 
Back in PSP
Hide Layer1 and unhide Layer2
Edit > Copy Merged
 
In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste after Current Frame
 
Back in PSP
Hide Layer2 and unhide Layer3
Edit > Copy Merged
 
In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste after Current Frame
 
Finally save as a GIF and you're done!!

Gorjuss Bunnies

 
Supplies
 
Scrap kit of choice - I am using the lovely "Silly Wabbit" by Oopsie Daisy which is available from Exquisite Scraps
Tubes of choice - I am using the gorgeous artwork of Suzanne Woolcott which can be purchased from her store
**PLEASE DO NOT USE HER ARTWORK WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE LICENCE**
Preset Shape of choice - I am using a Flower shape
Font of choice - I am using 2Peas Typo
 
 
~ Step 1 ~
 
Open a new 700 x 700 blank canvas flood-filled white
 
Paste Frame2 as new layer
Resize by 20%
Position to the right
 
Select inside each of the Frames using your Magic Wand
(don't forget to click on the shadow part as well to select the whole area)
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
 
Add a new raster layer
Paste PP8 into Selection
Deselect
Layers / Arrange / Move Down
 

~ Step 2 ~
 
Paste Tree as new layer
Resize by 15%
Layers / Arrange / Move Down
Repeat
Position to the right beneath Frame
 
Paste Grass Fence Border as new layer
Resize by 15%
Position along bottom
 
Paste Diamonds From Heaven as new layer
Resize by 10%
Position partially tucked behind tree
 
Paste Wooden Fence as new layer
Resize by 8%
Position behind Tree
 
Paste Yellow Gel Swirl as new layer
Resize by 5%
Duplicate then Layers / Merge / Merge Down
Position in the grass
Duplicate several times and space along the fenceline
 
Paste various flowers
Resize by 7 - 10% each
Position on stems/swirls
 
Paste a bird
Resize by around 5%
Place on fence
 
Paste some Easter Eggs
Resize as necessary
Scatter in position
 
Then paste Egg2 as new layer
Resize by 17% TWICE
Duplicate and set blend mode to Soft Light
Layers / Merge / Merge Down
 
Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the following settings:
 
 
Then duplicate and blend mode to Multiply
Layers / Merge / Merge Down
 
Image / Resize
 

~ Step 3 ~
 
Open PP8 and minimise
 
Select your Preset Shape Tool on a Flower or any round shape of your choice
Draw out your shape
Objects / Align / Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
 
 
Effects / Texture Effects / Mosaic - Antique with the following settings:
 
 
Lower opacity to around 60
 
Still on this layer
Select your Selection Tool
Then in your Tool Options Palette click on Layer Opaque which will make a selection around that layer
Now go to Image / Crop to Selection
 
Now all that is left is to decorate your creation
 
Add some tubes and elements into the frames
Don't forget to select inside the frames
Selections / Modify / Expand by 5
Selections / Invert
Delete and deselect
 
Activate your top layer
Paste your main tube and resize as necessary
Apply a drop shadow of choice
 
Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using 2Pease Typo
Choose a colour to match your tag
 
In your Materials Palette:
Foreground - #FFFFFF
Background - #71a852 (or colour of your choice)
 
Stroke width - 1.5
 
Type out your name
Objects / Align / Horiztonal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
 
Apply a drop shadow:
H & V - 1.00
Opacity - 30
Blur - 5.00
Colour - #004000
 
Finally add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!
