Plugins: Eye Candy 4000 > Gradient Glow and HSB Noise

Let's begin....

Open a new 750 x 500 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste Frame06 as new layer

Select inside the Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 20
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2
Delete twice

KEEP SELECTED!!

Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Selections > Invert
Delete then deselect

Paste Frame08 as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position inside first Frame and move upwards

Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Add new raster layer
Paste paper of choice INTO selection
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Selections > Invert
Deselect

Paste some text from the alpha as new layers
Resize each by around 45 - 55% depending on your text of choice
Position each beneath the Inner Frame

Select inside the left Frame and paste a Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position
Selections > Invert
Delete then deselect
Set blend mode to Luminance Legacy

Repeat with the right Frame

Paste Eyelet02 as new layer
Resize by 45%
Position to the left edge of outer frame
Duplicate then Image > Mirror
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Duplicate again
Set blend mode to Overlay
Lower opacity to 50

Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste NotebookSheet as new layer
Image > Rotate by 20 to the right
Resize by 60%
Position to the right BEHIND inner Frame

Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Position in upper left

Activate top layer

Paste Butterfly as new layer
Image > Rotate by 10 to the left
Resize by 30%
Position to the lower left of inner frame

Duplicate then Image > Mirror

Position in the upper right of inner frame

Paste Flower02 as new layer
Resize by 25%

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Paste Flower04 as new layer
Resize by 20%
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Position to your liking

Duplicate again
Resize by another 50%
Duplicate and position around canvas

Paste any other elements and position to your liking

Select your text and apply a slight Gradient Glow

Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer
Apply WSL_Mask81
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Group

Crop and resize tag

Select Text Tool and font of choice
I am using A&S Snapper Script
Text colour Black

Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a Gradient Glow and drop shadow of choice

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Activate your Frame1 Paper Background layer
Duplicate twice and rename Light1, Light2 and Light3

Activate Light1
Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > HSB Noise with the following settings:

Hide Light1 and activate Light2
Repeat Noise, adjusting the Random Seed

Hide Light2 and activate Light3
Repeat Noise once again, adjusting the Random Seed

Now to animate!

Activate Light1 and hide Light2 and Light3

Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP
Hide Light1 and activate Light2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Light2 and activate Light3
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Select all and change Frame Properties to 20
Now save as a GIF and you're done!

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact Gradient Glow

Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (Optional for text)

Ready? Let's begin....

Open a new 700 x 550 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste Frame02 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 90 to the right
Image > Mirror, then
Resize by 75%

Select the area inside the Frame with Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 20

Paste Image of choice as new layer
Resize to liking to fit within Frame
Selections > Invert
Delete, then deselect

Paste Journal as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Duplicate and bring that layer to top

Use your Freehand tool to draw around portions of the Journal tag and Ribbon
Selections > Modify > Feather by 1
Press delete once or twice

Then deselect

Select the Green bow in the upper right with your Magic Wand

Then got to Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:

KEEP SELECTED!!

Set the blend mode to Multiply, then
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer
Set Promoted Layer to Multiply also
Deselect

Paste Twig as new layer
Image > Rotate by 10 to the left
Resize by 35%
Position in lower right

Paste PawPrints as new layer
Resize by 45%
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

Position to the right beneath the Ribbon

Duplicate, then
Image > Rotate by 25 to the left
Erase the paws covering the image, leaving about three placed over the bottom of Frame

Place another single pawprint at the top
Resize these by 90%

Paste Greens03 as new layer
Image > Mirror
Image > Rotate by 10 to the right
Resize by 42%

Position to the left below Frame

Paste Greens04 as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Bring to top again
Resize by 35%
Position in lower left joining the bottom branch

Paste Flowers03 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 90 to the right
Resize by 30%
Position to the lower left as above, then
Carefully erase the leaves

Paste Rusty Charm as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top
Image > Rotate by 10 to the right
Resize by 45%
Position to the left over Paperfold and branch

Paste Bow02 as new layer
Resize by 55%
Position in upper left joining the Charm and PaperFold to the Frame

Duplicate then set blend mode to Multiply
Lower opacity to 60, then
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste ButtonGroup as new layer
Resize by 55%
Position over the Bow

Paste FlowerGroup as new layer
Image > Rotate by 90 to the left
Resize by 60%
Position along bottom of Frame

Open Mesh image
Grab your Selection Tool and in your Tool Options Palette where it says "Crate Selection from" select the Layer Opaque (middle)
This will make a selection around the Mesh

Image > Crop to Selection

Now in your Materials Palette click on the Patterns tab and locate your Mesh pattern

Set the Scale to 70; Angle at 0

On your working canvas add a new raster layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Flood-fill with Mesh

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Locate WSL_Mask7
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Group

Paste Notepaper as new layer
Image > Rotate by 15 to the right
Resize by 55%
Position to the right and slightly protruding

Paste Moon as new Layer
Duplicate then set blend mode to Screen
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Dulicate again and set blend mode to Screen once more
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Resize by 45%
Position in upper left behind greenery etc

Resize tag and add any drop shadows of choice

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using AL Afternoon Delight
Text colour is #48301a

Type out your text and position
Convert to raster layer

Select another font of choice

I am using AL Age Old Love

Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a small Gradient Glow and drop shadow of choice

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

** IF YOU WISH TO ANIMATE THE EYES PLEASE FOLLOW THESE NEXT STEPS **

Activate the Image Layer
Duplicate twice and rename Eyes1, Eyes2 and Eyes3

Hide Eyes2 and Eyes3 activating only Eyes1

With your Freehand Tool or Selection Tool on eclipse (whichever you find easiest) draw out two small circles around the Wolf's eyes
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2

Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact > Gradient Glow with the following settings:

*Please note the position of slider*

KEEP SELECTED!!

Hide Eyes1 and activate Eyes2
Apply the Glow effect, adjusting the Gradient colour slider up to halfway

Hide Eyes2 and activate Eyes3
Apply the Glow effect again, adjusting the Gradient colour slider up to three quarters of the way

Deselect

Hide Eyes2 and Eyes3 with only Eyes1 visible
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP
Hide Eyes1 and activate Eyes2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste AFTER Current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Eyes2 and activate Eyes3
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste AFTER Current Frame

Select All and adjust Frame Properties to 30, then save as a GIF and you're done!

Convert to raster layer
Apply a white Gradient Glow and drop shadow of choice

Paste BellasLullabySheet as new layer

Resize by 120%

Layers > Arrange > Move Down

Move down so the top of the page meets the top of your tag

 

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image

Locate WSL_Mask230

Layers > Merge > Merge Group

Lower opacity to 60

 

Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:

 

 

Activate top layer and paste any other elements of choice

Resize and position to your liking

 

Open your tube or image of choice

I used an image to which I applied the 20-20 mask to which gives is a misted look

Paste as new layer

Resize as necessary and place below Frame layer

 

For the colourised effect I used a Black and White image

Once I pasted the misted copy I set the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy)

Duplicated it then applied the same colourisation as above before lowering the opacity to 20

 

Crop and resize tag

 

Select your Text Tool and font of choice

I am using Pablo LET (Bella's handwriting)

Choose a colour from your tag and set it as your background

 

Type out your text and position at the top of your tag

Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas

Convert to raster layer

Apply a soft Gradient Glow in white and a slight drop shadow

Lower opacity to your liking

 

Using the same font or choose another

Type out your name

Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas

Convert to raster layer

Apply a soft Gradient Glow in white and a slight drop shadow

 

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Paste TreeBranch as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top
Resize by 60%
Position along bottom of Frame

 

Paste Greens as new layer
Resize by 70%
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Position below and along Branch

 

 

Paste your tube as new layer
Resize as necessary
Position to the right beneath Frame layer

 

Paste Tree as new layer
Resize by 35%
Position to the left

 

Activate your tube layer
Select the area around your tube
Selections > Invert
Now activate the Tree layer
Press delete

 

 

Paste Bow01 as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Bring to Top
Resize by 20%
Position to the left

 

Paste Bow02 as new layer
Resize by 16%
Position alongside first Bow

 

Paste Butterfly as new layer
Image > Mirror
Resize by 10%
Position to the right above the Branch

 

Activate Paper Background layer

 

Paste WaterDrop as new layer (behind Tree)
Resize by 30%
Position as if falling from the sky
Duplicate several times and position

 

Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Repeat till all WaterDrops are one layer

 

Paste Frame02 as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Resize by 74%
Position behind Frame
Select Pick Tool and use nodes to pull side out to same size as first Frame
Lower opacity to around 55

 

 

Use your Selection Tool to draw around overhanging ribbon

 

 

Press delete then deselect

 

Activate Leaf layer
Duplicate
Image > Mirror
Move down to bottom Frame layer
Position to the right, protruding from the bottom of Frame

 

Paste PP04 as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

 

Image > Canvas to 600 x 600

 

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Locate WSL_Mask7
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

 

Crop around mask layer
Then resize tag (I resized to 500 x 480)

 

Still on Mask layer
Effects > Plugins > Xero > Fritillary with the following settings:

 

 

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using CK Retro Block

 

Choose two colours from your tube/tag
Set your Material Properties:
Foreground - #000000
Background - #516945
Stroke width - 1.5

 

Type out your text - "Cherish the Planet"
Position and convert to raster layer

 

Select a script font
I am using Brush Script MT
Turn off the Foreground using only the Background colour

 

Type out the word - "Sustainability"
Position and convert to raster layer
Lower opacity to 50

 

Select another font of choice or use one of those already used
Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horiztonal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Add a slight drop shadow

 

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Little Miss Cottontail

 

Supplies

 

Scrap kit of choice - I am using "Cotton Tail" by Pimp'd Dezigns which is available from Paradise 4 Scrappers and Stargazer Scraps

Tube of choice - I am using the lovely artwork of Ed Muroniuk which can be purchased from CILM

**PLEASE DO NOT USE HIS ARTWORK WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE LICENCE**

WSL_Mask84 by Chelle available from her blog

Fonts of choice - I am using Cheri and Bello Script

Plugin: Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

 

Let's begin...

 

 

Open a new 700 x 700 blank canvas flood-filled white

 

Paste Frame02 as new layer
Resize by 85%

 

Select inside the Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Add a new raster layer
Paste PP01 into Selection
Deselect
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

 

Paste Flower01 and Flower02 as new layers respectively
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Place each in position

 

Paste Flower09 and Flower10 as new layers
Resize by 70%
Position each upon each Flower respectively

 

Paste Flower03 and Flower06 as new layers
Resize by 70%
Position alongside other flowers on bottom layer

 

Close off Background, Frame and Frame background
Activate one of the Flower layers
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
Unhide all layers

 

Paste Wrap01 as new layer
Resize by 90%

 

Select the area outside the Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Contract by 2
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2

 

Use your Erase Tool to erase each end of the Wrap then deselect

 

 

Paste Vine as new layer
Resize by 70% and place to the right

 

Activate Wrap layer and select the area around it with your magic Wand
Then erase part of the Vine overlapping the Wrap
Deselect

 

 

Paste Greens01 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 40 to the left
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Position behind flowers
Duplicate then Image > Rotate by 20 to the right
Duplicate then Image > Mirror
Position greenery to your liking

 

Paste Bunny as new layer
Resize by 35%
Position to the left of the Wrap and Frame

 

Paste your tube as a new layer
Position behind Wrap
Erase any excess protruding below the Wrape and Frame
Add a slight drop shadow

 

Crop and resize

 

Paste PP10 as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Locate WSL_Mask84
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Group
Lower opacity to around 30

 

Select your Preset Shape Tool to Ellipse
Foreground - #000000
Background - null

 

Draw out a circle around your tag

 

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Cheri
Choose two colours from your tube and/or scrap
Set the Materials Palette:
Foreground - #ff9bb0
Background - #d50058

 

Stroke Width - 1.00

 

Rest your mouse over the Ellipse till you see an A with a curve beneath it
Type out your text and position

 

 

In your Layer Palette open your Vector Layer
Hide the Ellipse and convert to raster layer
Add a slight drop shadow
Apply a Gradient Glow and another small drop shadow

 

Select another font of choice - I am using Bello Script
Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply Gradient Glow and drop shadow

 

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark the save as a GIF or JPG and you're done
