Custom Posers included in kit and © Medievil Creations
Font of choice - I am using Be Safe which is Edward's handwriting
Plugins:
Xero Porcelain
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact Gradient Glow

Open DBS_Frame09 and duplicate, then close original
Image / Canvas Size
650 x 650 to the left

Select inside the frame with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
Paste a paper of choice as a new layer and move to below frame
Selections / Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste a window scene as a new layer
Resize as necessary
Delete then deselect

Apply Xero / Porcelain with all channels set to 0

Activate top layer

Paste a DBS_LaceHeart as new layer
Image / Free Rotate by 20 to the right
Resize by 35%
Position to the lower right

Paste another DBS_LaceHeart as new layer
Resize by 40% and position to the lower right

Paste one of the Champagne Flutes as a new layer
Resize by around 40%
Position just behind the second Lace Heart

Paste DBS_Rose as new layer
Image / Mirror and resize by 20%
Position over the bottom of the Flute in front of the Lace Heart

Apply the Porcelain filter

Paste DBS_Dove as new layer
Image / Mirror and resize by 15%
Position sitting on top of Flute

Paste DBS_RosePetals as new layer
Image / Free Rotate by 20 to the left
Resize by 50%
Position to the lower right behind the Lace Hearts and Flute etc. on the bottom layer

Paste a Word Art of choice as a new layer
Resize by around 50% and position
Apply a slight gradient glow if you wish

On top layer again
Paste DBS_Sparkles as new layer
Resize by 88% and position over frame to your liking
Erase any excess over faces

Select a font of your choice - I am using Be Safe (Edward's handwriting)
Type out your name in a colour matching your tag - I am using #674255
Apply a drop shadow and a Gradient Glow for effect

Then add your credits, save as a PNG and you're done!

Font of choice - I am using PegsannaHMK
Plugins:
Xero Porcelain
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Gradient Glow

Open a new 650 x 500 transparent canvas
Flood fill layer black and turn off visibility (we'll use it later)

Paste DBS_Frame03 as new layer
Resize by 70% and position to the left

Select the inside of your frame with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
Paste a paper of choice as a new layer
Move to below the frame
Selections / Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste DBS_SparkleRain as new layer
Resize by 70% and position to your liking
Delete excess

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste one of the Wisteria scenes as a new layer
Resize by around 85% and position
Delete excess, then deselect

Duplicate SparkleRain layer
Move to layer above Couple/Wisteria scene

With your Selection Tool draw a rectangle around the middle section of the Rain covering Edward and Bella
Delete

On the main image/tube layer
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain with all channels set to Zero

Paste DBS_WeddingInvitation as new layer
Image / Free Rotate by 10 to the right
Resize by 50%
Position to the right of the frame
Don't worry that it overlaps, we will fix that
Duplicate then move layer to the bottom

On top layer use your Freehand Selection Tool on Point to Point with no feathering
Draw along the edge of the invitation and back around the envelope

Then delete and deselect

Paste DBS_PearlFlower as a new layer
Resize by 17%
Duplicate twice and position around invitation

Now turn on the visibility of the black layer we flood-filled at the beginning
We're going to need it to see what we're doing next

Paste DBS_Clocks as new layer
Resize by 70%
Position so that you can see one of the clocks ONLY above the invitation
Lower opacity to around 50-55

Duplicate and move slightly down so that other clocks are partially visible
Then lower the opacity to around 30

Activate top layer again BUT KEEP BLACK BACKGROUND VISIBLE!

Paste DBS_Sparkles as new layer
Resize by 85% and position to the left
USe your Eraser Tool to erase any excess sparkles

Paste Sparkles as a new layer again
Image / Mirror then resize by 85%
Position to your liking to the right and lower opacity to around 75
Remove any excess of sparkles you wish

You should now have something like this:

Delete the black layer (we don't need it anymore)

Paste DBS_WordArt of your choice as new layer
Resize by around 65% and position above frame and clocks

Select a font of your choice - I am using PegsannaHMK
Type out your name using a matching colour - I am using #674255
Add a drop shadow

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact / Gradient Glow with the following settings:

Then add your credits, save as a PNG and you're done!

Open a new 600 x 300 transparent image
Selections / Select All

Paste DBS_Paper03 or one of choice as new layer
Now paste DBS_Paper05 or one of choice as new layer
Image / Crop to Selection

Selections / Select All
Selections / Modify / Contract by 5
Delete then deselect

Paste DBS_CheckeredFloor as new layer
Resize by 70% and position to lower half of canvas

Paste DBS_Swing02 as new layer
Image / Mirror
Resize by 50% and position to the far left

Paste tub of choice as new layer
Resize if necessary
Position to the far right of canvas
Duplicate
On duplicate layer apply

Effects / Plugins / Xero / Soft Mood
with default settings

Lower opacity of layer to around 60
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste DBS_Lips01 as new layer
Resize by 15%
Position to your liking

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact / Gradient Glow
Apply a thin black glow
Duplicate, then Image / Mirror
Position below the swing in the lower left

Paste DBS_Sunglasses01 as new layer
Resize by 35% and position to your liking

Set your background in your Material Palette to a colour in contrast but matching your tag
I used #dad6bd

Select a font of your choice (I used GeeohHmk)
Type out "Thought for the Day!"

Select a print font of your choice (I used Gabriel with Kerning set to 25)
Type out:
If heat makes things expand
then I don't have a

Select another font of choice (I used Kaxio)
Type out "Hot!"

Now position all text to your liking, then
Layers / Merge / Merge Down
And repeat to merge all text layers into one

Now repeat the Black Gradient Glow effect

Now in the lower right using your Selection Tool set to rectangle
Draw out a rectangle about the width of your tube
Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur with a radius of 10.00

Effects / Plugins / PhotoEffx / Scanlines
With default settings

Select another font of choice (I used Kaxio again)
Type out your name
Repeat the Black Gradient Glow effect
Apply a drop shadow

Add your credits etc....

ANIMATION

Select your background layer
Duplicate twice

On your first layer
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 4000 / HSB Noise with the following settings:

Activate the second layer
Repeat the effect, adjusting the Random Seed

Activate the third layer
Repeat the effect again, adjusting the Random Seed

Hide the second and third layers and with the first layer activated
Edit / Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

In PSP
Activate second layer
Edit / Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste after current frame

In PSP
Activate third layer
Edit / Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste after current frame

Select All
ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Chaneg to 25

Save as a GIF and you're done!

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature Smoke
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact Gradient Glow (optional for text)

Open the TP_SpidersWeb_01 or one of your choice
Shift + D to duplicate it and close the original
Resize to 600 x 600

Paste DBS_Pumpkin_01 as new layer
Resize by 70% and leave in position

Paste TP_TreeStump_04 as new layer
Resize by 35%
Position to the right

Paste TP_Halloween_06 as new layer
Resize by 35%
Position along the bottom

Paste TP_Owl_01 as new layer
Erase the log and any excess
Resize by 15%
Position the owl on the tree stump

Paste one the Cauldrons as a new layer
Resize by about 25% and position to the left

Paste TP_InTheWoods_10 (Pumpkins) as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position to the lower right over the skulls (don't worry, we're going to replace them *s*)

Paste TP_Skulls_01 as new layer
Resize by 12% and position in front of the Pumpkins

Paste TP_Bat_02 as new layer
Resize by 25% and position to your liking

Paste a tube of choice as a new layer
You can use one from the kit or one of your own
I used one by Outlaw by Design which is used in the kit
Resize and position to your liking

I then applied the Xero Porcelain filter with the Red, Green and Blue channels set to 0
This gives it a soft look

Image / Canvas Size
Width - 600
Height - 650
Placement - Bottom by 50

Select a font of your choice - I am using Morpheus
Type out your name and apply any effects you wish

Add your credits and you're done!

LET'S ANIMATE!!

Activate your Cauldron layer
Add three new raster layers, calling them
Smoke1, Smoke2 and Smoke3

Grab your Freehand Selection tool
Feather - 2

KEEP SELECTED THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS!

Draw out the shape of smoke coming from the cauldron

On the Smoke1 layer
Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin 5: Nature / Smoke with the following settings:

Hide Smoke1 and activate Smoke2
Repeat the Smoke effect, adjusting the Random Seed

Hide Smoke2 and activate Smoke3 and repeat the effect again

Deselect

Hide Smoke2 and Smoke3
Activate Smoke1
Edit / Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

In PSP
Hide Smoke2 and activate Smoke3
Edit / Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste after Current frame

Select all
ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Change to 20

Save as a GIF and you're done!

Open the Witchylicious template
Shift + D to duplicate it and close the original
Delete the credit layer and let's begin

Activate Left Rectangle
Selections / Select All, then Float, then Defloat
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Resize by about 70%
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Activate Circle Back
Repeat Selection process
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 70%
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Then Duplicate and set blend mode to Multiply
Layers / Merge / Merge Down
Repeat if necessary for a dark border

Activate Circle Front
Repeat Selection process
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 70%
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Activate Right Rectangle
Repeat Selection process
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 70%
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Activate Word Art (the blue layer)
Repeat Selection process
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 60%

Delete then deselect
Duplicate then set blend mode to Multiply

Remove the Bat Hearts unless you wish to use them but for this tutorial we aren't

Paste TP_Halloween_03 as new layer
Resize by 70% and move it just off centre but position so it is tucked slightly behind the Word Art Glitter layer

Paste TP_Cauldron_05 as new layer
Resize by 27% and position to the left of the tree

Paste TP_GRass_03 as new layer
Resize by 20% and position to the lower right beyond the skulls to fill in
Duplicate, then Image / Mirror and position behind Cauldron

Paste TP_Lanterns_01 as new layer
Resize by about 35% and position on the upper left rectangle

Back on top layer

Paste TP_BooksOfSpell_01 as new layer
Resize by 20% and position in lower left

Paste tube of choice as new layer
If you are using the same as me, resize it by 70%
Then Duplicate it and hide layer
On the original layer go to:

Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colourise
Set both to 0

Select your Change to Target brush with the following settings:

Set your foreground colour to #5a5f35
Now carefully run your brush over the tube
Unhide the duplicate layer and set blend mode to Soft Light

I also used another tube by the same artist
Resized it to around 35% and positioned it on the book of spells

On the bottom layer paste a paper of choice
Apply a mask of choice - I am using DBV_Masks135
Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Resize tag to 600 x 600

Select a font of choice - I am using PetraScript
Type out your name and add any effects you wish
I used Eye Candy 400 HSB Noise with default settings and added a Gradient Glow

Now add your credits and you're done!

Open a new transparent image 700 x 600
Paste TP_FramePlain01 as new layer
Resize by 50%

Paste TP_Halloween05 as new layer
Resize by by 50%
Position to the left of the Frame

Select inside the Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
Paste a paper of choice as a new layer and place beneath the frame
Resize paper by 40%

Selections / Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste TP_Halloween_07 as new layer
Resize by 37%
Position toward the centre of the frame

Paste TP_Pumpkins_05 as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position in the corner of frame over the steps of the little house

Delete then deselect

Back to the top layer

Paste TP_Cauldron_5 as new layer
Resize by 16% and position at base of the tree

Paste TP_PumpkinVine_02 as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position in upper right
Select the inside of the Frame with your Magic Wand again
Then with your Eraser Tool erase just the excess vine at the bottom

Paste TP_MagicTreeStump_01 as new layer
Resize by 37% and position to the lower left of frame

Paste TP_Pumpkins_02 as new layer
Resize by 7% and position on steps
Duplicate, then Image / Mirror
Position at the edge of tree stump

Paste TP_Stardust_02 or one of choice as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position from top of Cauldron

Paste a tube of choice as a new layer
I am using the lovely artwork of Cris Ortega
If you are using the same as me Mirror the tube and position to the right
Duplicate it and move to below the Frame layer

Now grab your Freehand Selection Tool on Point to Point with feather set to 0
Carefully draw around where the tree stump is
(hide the top tube layer if you need to see the stump)

Now paste a paper of your choice as a new layer and move to the bottom
Apply a mask of your choice
I used two masks for my effect and played with the opacity to blend them together
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Back to your top layer

Select a font of your choice and type out your name
Add any effects you wish - I used Eye Candy 4000 HSB Noise on default settings
Then add a drop shadow

Add your credits etc.

Continue for animation.....

First of all, add a white background to your canvas

Activate your Stardust layer and duplicate twice
Rename Stardust 1, Stardust 2 and Stardust 3

Hide 2 and 3 and activate Stardust 1
Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Xenofex 2 / Constellation with the following settings:

Hide Stardust 1 and activate Stardust 2
Repeat the Constellation effect adjusting only the Random Seed to your liking

Hide Stardust 2 and repeat with Stardust 3

Hide Stardust 2 and 3 once again
Activate Stardust 1
Edit / Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

In PSP
Hide Stardust 1 and activate Stardust 2

Open Animation Shop
Paste after current frame

In PSP
Hide Stardust 2 and activate Stardust 3

Open Animation Shop
Paste after current frame

Select all
ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Change to 20

Save as a GIF and you're done!

Open Template_105_Beth_09
Shift + D to duplicate then close the original
Image / Canvas Size
700 x 700
Centred

Activate Large White Circle
Selections / Float, then Defloat
Paste a paper of choice as a new layer
Selections / Modify / Contract by 8
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Activate Black Circle
Selections / Float, then Defloat
Paste a paper of choice as a new layer
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Activate Orange Circle Frame
Adjust / Colour / Manual Colour Correction

** You may need to select this option from the Unused Commands
To do this, go to View / Customise
In the list on the left select Unused Commands
Then in the list on the right find Manual Colour Correction
Left Click AND HOLD then drag it to you Adjust / Colour menu and drop it there

Now in the left box Left click the Orange Frame for your SOURCE colour
Select the box that says TARGET colour and choose Black

Remove the Fright and credit layers

You should now have something like this:

Paste a tube of your choice and resize as necessary
If using the same as me resize by 90%
Position in centre

Paste DBS_Pumpkin01 as new layer
resize by 25% and position BEHIND the tube to the left
Duplicate and set blend mode to Multiply
Lower opacity to around 85
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste DBS_Pumpkin02 as new layer
Image / Mirror
Resize by 35% and position behind the tube to the right
Duplicate and set blend mode to Multiply
Lower opacity to around 85
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste DBS_PeterPumpkin01 as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position to the right just behind the tube

Now open DBS_WitchesHouse01
Selections / Select All, then Float, then Defloat
Add a new raster layer
Paste DBS_WitchesHouse02 into Selection
Deselect
Set blend mode to Multiply

Now Copy Merged and paste as new layer on your canvas
Image / Mirror, then
Resize by 55% and position to the left

Paste DBS_GooglyEyes as new layer
Image / Free Rotate to the left by 10
Resize by 15% and position on the rooftop of the witches house

Paste a CandyCane as new layer
Resize by 50% and position to your liking
Repeat with a second candy cane

Now apply the Xero / Porcelain effect to each layer
With all settings to 0

Paste a paper of choice as your bottom layer
Apply a mask of choice
I am using DBV_Mask_124
Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Select a font of choice and type out your name
Add your credits and you're done!

Delete then deselect

Paste a CandyCane as a new layer
Image / Mirror
Resize by 40% and position toward the centre left
Paste another CandyCane of choice as new layer
Resize by 40% and position toward the centre right opposite the first CandyCane

Paste DBS_HauntedHouse as new layer
Resize by 50% and position near the centre

Oaste a flower of choice as new layer
Resize by 25% and duplicate
Position both on either side of the Haunted House

Paste another flower of choice
Resize by 35% and duplicate
Position both on either side

Paste one of the VampireLips as new layer
Image / Free Rotate to the left by 10
Resize by 30% ad position BEHIND the flowers and house to the left

Paste an EmoSkelly as a new layer
Image / Mirror
Resize by 35% and position to the far lower right

Paste a Spider as a new layer
Resize by 20% and position in front of the house to your liking

Now let's select the frames again with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
Paste one of the posers included in the kit and position to your liking
(we are doing this AFTER the elements so we can position them best in the frames)
Selections / Invert

Now repeat for the other frame
Delete excess of both poser tubes and deselect
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain with default settings

Paste the DBS_WordArt01 as new layer
Resize by 80% and position at the bottom

Paste one of the poser tubes as a new layer
Resize by around 80% and position to your liking
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain with default settings

Paste the DBS_Moon as new layer
Resize by around 57% and position behind the frame layers
Duplicate, then
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Radiance with the default settings
Lower the opacity to around 80
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste paper of choice as new layer
Apply mask of choice - I am using WSL_HalloweenMask1
Layers / Merge /Merge Group

Select a font of choice - I am using Darkwood
Choose colours from your tag and type out your name

Open a new transparent image 700 x 700

Open the DBS_Paper09 and minimise it
Select your Preset Shapes tool to Rectangle
Set the width to 10.00

Click on your foreground in your materials palette
Select the Patterns tab
Find your paper in the preview pane
Angle - 0
Size - 100

On your canvas draw out a rectangle towards the left

Image / Free Rotate to the left by 10
Convert to raster layer
Ensure you have the rectangle positioned to your liking
Duplicate, then Image / Mirror
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Select inside the two frames with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 5
Paste paper of choice as new layer and move below frames
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Paste DBS_Frame06 as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position between the two rectangle frames
Select inside the Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
Delete the excess of the two rectangle frames
Layers / Merge / Merge Down
The frames should now me merged as one layer

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 50% and position in frame
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect

Choose two of the Cookie posers from the kit - - I used DBS_Magda_on_Jacko and DBS_medi_magda2
Select inside the two side frames with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 5
Paste the Posers in either side of the frames and position to your liking
You may even resize them up if you wish
Selections / Invert
Delete excess then deselect

Now on each of the poser tubes
Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colourise
Set both to 0

Back to top layer

Paste DBS_Sign02 as new layer
Image / Free Rotate to the left by 10
Resize by 35%
Position along the bottom between the left and middle frames

Paste two flowers of choice as new layers
Resize each by 20% and position to the left of the frame and sign

Paste DBS_SpookyTree02 as new layer
Resize by about 90%
Position in centre

Paste one of the JackOLantern pumpkins as a new layer
Resize by 35%
Position to the right between the middle and right frames

Paste an eyeball as a new layer
Image / Mirror
Resize by 8%
Position beside the Pumpkin
Duplicate
Image / Flip
Resize by 90%
Position with other eyeball

Paste a Cauldron as a new layer
Resize by 30%
Position behind Pumpkin and Spooky tree

Paste DBS_Blood as new layer
Resize by 75%
Position on the bottom layer beneath your elements
Duplicate, then Image / Mirror

Paste a paper of choice as new layer
Layers / Load/Save Mask / Load Mask from Disk

Paste another Cookie poser tube of choice as a new layer
Resize and position to your liking

Choose a colour from your tag - I'm using #4e3185
Select a bold font (I am usign Autumn) and type out a few words
Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact / Gradient Glow with the following settings:

Select another font of choice and type out your name in white
I am using Carpenter Script
Apply the Gradient Glow again

Add your credits and you're done!

Open DBS_Frame04 or DBS_Frame05
Shift + D to duplicate it then close the original
Image / Canvas Size
700 x 700
Centred

Resize Frame by 85%

Select the inside of the frame with your Magic Wand
Selections / Modify / Expand by 10
Paste a paper of choice as new layer
Selections / Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Duplicate paper layer and set blend mode to Multiply
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste DBS_CrystalBall02 as new layer
Resize by around 40% and position to the lower left to your liking
Delete the outside excess

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste your tube of choice as new layer
I am using the awesome artwork of NoFlutter
Position to your liking
Duplicate and move layer to top
Turn of visibility and return to layer below Frame

Delete excess then deselect

Now turn the visibility back on the top layer
Grab your Freehand Selection Tool on Point to Point
Feather = 0
Draw a small selection around the bottom that overhangs
Don't worry about taking too much off - that's why we made the duplicate beneath the frame *s*

Duplicate the top layer again
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain with default settings
Lower the opacity of this layer to around 80, then
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Repeat this process with the tube layer beneath the frame also so it blends with the main tube layer

Paste DBS_CatSilhouette as a new layer
Resize by 40% and position in the lower left

Paste DBS_SpookyTree01 as new layer
Position to the right and place a layer above the paper layer

Paste DBS_SpookyTree02 and position to the left

You should now have something like this:

Now we need a background...I usually do these last because it depends on how the tag looks as to which mask looks best. lol

Paste a paper of choice as a new layer
Layers / Load/Save Mask / Load Mask from Disk
Select your mask of choice - I am using Yezmask067
Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Select a font and type out some words of choice
Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact / Gradient Glow
Choose a slight subtle white glow - there is one in the presets there

Select another font of choice and type out your name and add the Gradient Glow again, then add your credits

ANIMATION

This is a simple animation
First of all give your tag a white background
Whenever you have a transparent tag you are animating you need a white background or the optimisation blackens your background

Select your JackOLantern Crystal Ball
Duplicate it and set the blend mode to Screen
Now turn the visibility off
Edit / Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

In PSP
Activate the second Crystal Ball layer
Edit / Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste after current Frame

Select all
ALT + Enter to open the Frame Properties
Change to 35

That's it!
Now save as a GIF and you're done!

Activate Back Rectangle
Paste paper of choice as new layer
Selections / Select All, then Float, then Defloat, then Invert
Delete and deselect

Repeat with Rectangle Frame, Small Side Frames and the Frame with other papers of choice

Delete the BOO word art layer

If you are using the same tube as me, select your Change to Target brush with the following settings:

Set your Foreground colour to #916792

Now carefully colourise her gown, hair and mask
You may have to reduce the size of the brush for the hair and mask

**IMPORTANT**
Careful NOT to go over the same area twice. This will darken the colour
I recommend colouring the gown, stopping, reducing the brush size and then doing the hair and mask.
DO NOT release your mouse until you have covered your required area! This will result in re-clicking and the chance of going over the same area thus resulting in darkening your effect.
Do the entire colouring by holding your mouse for the entire duration, stopping only to change your brush size for the hair

OK..are you still with me? lol

This is like what you should have now:

Paste DBS_Raven as new layer
Resize by 20% and position in the upper left to your liking

Add the necessary credits, then with a font of your choice type out your name

ANIMATION

We are going to be daring and do two animations *s*
First let's start with the flames

Add three new raster layers calling them Flame1, Flame2 and Flame3
Hide Flame2 and 3 and activate Flame1

With your Magic Wand on Point to Point and Feather set to 0 draw out the shape of a flame

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature / Fire with the following settings:

Repeat the effect on each Flame layer adjusting the Random Seed
You may need to play with the Random Seed to get the flame effect you like

Now let's activate the paper layer on the Small Side Rectangles
Duplicate three times
Hide the top paper layer and rename the others to Light1, Light2 and Light3
Then hide Light2 and 3, with Light1 activated

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Textures / Marble with the following settings:

Now your Bedrock colour may differ depending on the colour of the paper you used
I used a deep purple paper so I picked a colour from there

Activate Light2 and repeat the effect, adjusting the Random Seed
Again you may need to play with it to get the effect you like

Activate Light3 and repeat the effect once more

Activate the top paper layer, set the blend mode to Soft Light and lower the opacity to around 75

OK, let's animate...ready?

Hide Flame2, Flame3, Light2 and Light3 layers
Activate only the Flame1 and Light1 layers
Edit / Copy Merged

Go to Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

Back to PSP
Keeping Light1 activated, hide the Flame1 layer and activate Flame2
Edit / Copy Merged

Go to Animation Shop
Paste after current frame

Back to PSP
Keeping Light1 activated, hide the Flame2 layer and activate Flame3
Edit / Copy Merged

Go to Animation Shop
Paste after current frame

Now repeat these same steps with Light2 activated, and then again with Light3
In all you should have 3 Light frames to each Flame

You should end up with a total of 9 frames

OK let's go back to the Blur layers we did at the beginning
Hide Blur2 and Blur3 layers
Activate Blur1

Effects / Texture Effects / Mosaic - Antique with the following settings:

Activate Blur2
Repeat the effect, changing the Grout Diffusion to 52

Activate Blur3
Repeat the effect again, changing the Grout Diffusion to 54

Now hide Blur2 and Blur3 again
Activate Blur1
Edit / Copy Merged

Burlesque

Open the "bur-ms filigree frame"
Shift + D to duplicate it, then close the original
Image / Canvas Resize
Width - 700
Height - 750
Centre checked

First of all let's greyscale the frame so it is completely black
Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colourise
Then set both to 0

With your Selection tool on Point to Point draw around the frame parts, keeping in the black borders
(I tried using the Magic Wand inside the frames but there appears to be some "noise" the wand picks up)

KEEP SELECTED!

Paste a paper of your choice as a new layer
Move paper below frame
Selections / Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!

Paste tube of choice as new layer
I am using the FTU artwork of Medusa-The Dollmaker and the tube "Burlesque", which I mirrored before pasting as new layer
Resize (I resized by 75%) and position to your liking
Press delete to remove the excess outside the frame

KEEP SELECTED!

Duplicate tube and position to your liking in the right frame
Move below the first tube layer
Delete (to remove excess)

Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colourise
Set both to 0
This layer should now be greyscale

STILL SELECTED!

Now I mirrored the tube back to its original state
Paste as new layer and resize by 75%
Position in the left from to your liking
Delete to remove the excess
And deselect

This is what I now have:

Paste the ADM-Element(7) as new layer and resize by 90%
Position toward lower right

Paste "bur-ms word art 1" as new layer
Resize by 95% and position to lower right over the bottom of the Feathered fan

Paste another paper of choice and move it to the bottom layer of the canvas
Layers / Load/Save Mask / Load Mask from Disk
Select Mask of choice - I am using WSL_Mask286
Apply
Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Now before we do anything else resize the tag to your liking

Add your credits to the artist etc.
Then add your name in a font of your choice

ANIMATION

I also animated the Word Art but for simplicity's sake I will refer only to the Mask layer - it is up to you if you wish to animate the Word Art as well

Now for the animation we need to have a background because the optimisation will add ugly black excess to anything transparent
So before we animate just add a white background layer to your canvas

Duplicate the mask layer twice
Hide the second and third layers and activate the first

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Xenofex 2 / Constellation with the following settings:

Hide the first layer and activate the second layer
Repeat effect, adjusting the Random Seed

Repeat with the third layer once again

Hide second and third layers and activate the first layer again
Edit / Copy Merged

Go to Animation Shop
Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP
Hide first layer and activate second layer
Edit / Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste AFTETR current Frame

Plugins:
Eye Candy 4000 HSB Noise

Open a paper of choice and duplicate it
Close original paper
Resize to 800 x 800

Image > Canvas Size with the following settings:
Width - 800
Height - 300
Centre square checked
OK

Open DBS_Blood
Resize to 800 pixels wide
Paste as new layer and position to liking
Set blend mode to multiply

Select your Preset Shapes tool
Set to Rectangle, stroke width about 2.0
Create as Vector layer checked
Draw out a rectangle in the centre of the canvas
Objects > Align > Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer

With your Magic Wand select inside the rectangle
Selections > Modify > Contract by 10
Flood fill with black
Selections > Modify > Contract by 1
Delete, then deselect

You should now have something like this:

Select inside the borders with your Magic Wand

Now activate your bottom layer
Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel with the following settings:

Selections > Promote Selection to Layer
Then deselect
Move your new Frame layer to the top

You can delete the previous border layer as this was just for outlining the frame

With your Magic Wand select inside the frame
Selections > Modify > Expand by 5
Activate the blood layer and delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste a tube of your choice - I am using the lovely artwork of Cris Ortega
Resize up or down as necessary
Selections > Invert
Then delete and deselect

Paste one of the Crystal Balls as a new layer
Resize by about 15%
Position in the lower right corner

Choose two Flowers
Paste and resize the first one by 20%
Position toward the lower left
Paste and resize the second flower by 15%
Position to the lower left and down beside the first flower

Paste DBS_Skulls as new layer
Resize by 12% and position to your liking
Duplicate layer
On duplicate layer go to:
Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colourise
Set both to 0
Your duplicate skulls should now be greyscale

Go to your Manual Colour Correction (you may find this in your Unused Commands and drag it to one of your menus - I have it under Adjust > Colour)

In the first display box left click to choose a Source colour from the skulls
IN the second display box pick a target colour from your canvas using your RIGHT CLICK - it MUST be your right click or you will change the source colour

REMEMBER:
Left click - Source
Right click - Target
A mistake I often made when first getting used to Manual Colour Correction *g*

You may need to play with both the Source and Target colours to get the desired effect you want

Now it is up to you whether you want to use your Blend Mode with the duplicate layer or leave it as is and delete the original layer
I simply lowered the opacity of my duplicate layer so the original colour from the original layer blended with the coloured layer for a soft effect
Merge the skulls to one layer

Now behind the skull layers paste the DBS_Hat as new layer
Resize by 10% and position to your liking
Duplicate layer, then
Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colourise
Set both to 0
The hat should be greyscale
Now set the blend mode to Soft Light or to your liking
Layers > Merge Down

Duplicate the skulls layer
Image > Mirror
Resize by 75%
Move second skulls below the Crystal Ball layer and tuck behind to your liking
Activate your crystal ball
Selections > Float, then Defloat
Then activate skulls again and delete
Deselect

Go to your bottom background layer
Selections > Select All
Then
Selections > Modify > Contract by 10
Then
Selections > Promote Selection to Layer
Deselect and move to top layer

Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel with the same settings as before

Now add your credits and your name in fonts of choice

ANIMATION

I cheated for this animation and made it easy...lol

Merge All layers visible then duplicate twice
Hide the top two layers and activate first layer

Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > HSB Noise with the following settings:

Activate second layer and repeat the effect changing the Random Seed
Repeat process again with the third layer

Now activate the first layer and copy

Open Animation Shop and Paste as New Animation

In PSP activate second layer and copy
In Animation Shop, Paste AFTER current frame

Repeat with the third layer and paste it after the current (second) frame

Select All frames
ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Change to 25

Save as a gif and you're done!

The Spideress (with two animated versions)

Supplies

Scrap kit of choice - I am using "Gothic Halloween" by Kittz Kreations
Tube of choice (black and white tube works best) - I am using one by Anna Ignatieva
Font of choice - I am using Addams
Plugin - Xero / Porcelain
Animation Shop

Open a new 700 x 300 transparent image

Select All
Then Selections / Modify / Contract by 40
Flood fill selection with black

KEEP SELECTED!!

Selections / Modify / Contract by 10
Press Delete

Selections / Modify / Expand by 5
Paste a paper of choice as a new layer
(I used GH-P6)
Move it to below the frame you just made

Selections / Invert
Delete and deselect

Now paste your tube of choice and position to your liking
Move it to the top layer above the frame
Position it so some of the tube overhangs the top of the border frame

With your Magic Wand select the inside of the border frame
Activate your tube layer again and with your Eraser Tool carefully erase the excess AT THE BOTTOM of the tube
Deselect

Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain with the following settings:
Softness - 50
Strength - 128
Brightness - 128
Red Channel - 0
Green Channel - 0
Blue Channel - 100

Now beneath the tube and frame layers add a new raster layer
Use your Selection Tool set to rectangle with Feather on 0
Draw out a rectangle vertically centred and to the left
Try and keep the same amount of distance between the top, bottom and the left to the frame

Now flood fill the selection Black
Duplicate layer
Selections / Modify / Contract by 5
Press delete
Then paste your tube again but mirror it BEFORE pasting it or only the selection mirrors
Selections / Modify / Expand by 3
Selections / Invert
Delete then deselect
Position this layer BELOW the inner frame
Apply the same effect with the Porcelain filter

Paste GH-SkullWeb as new layer and position it BENEATH the inner frame to its centre
Resize by about 90% Bicubic

Paste GH-M2 as a new layer and position to the upper right corner of frame
Activate Background layer and use your Magic Wand to select OUTSIDE the background
On the Moon layer press Delete to remove the excess
Deselect

Now lets go back to the top layer
Paste GH-GothicGoblet as a new layer
Resize by 60% and position to the left just slightly overhanging the outer border

Paste GH-Skull as new layer
Resize by 45% and position next to the Goblet

Paste GH-BloodSpatter as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position to the right to your liking
Duplicate layer, then set blend mode to Multiply
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste GH-PearlString as new layer
Free Rotate by 10 to the left
Resize by 55%
Position to the bottom right and move to the bottom layer
Duplicate and position second layer to the bottom left
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste GH-GemSpider as new layer
Free Rotate by 90 to the right
Resize by 25%
Duplicate three times so that you have FOUR spider layers
Position along the bottom of the frame spaced evenly apart

I added my copyright and name at this point, since the next steps are the animation
(You will also need to add a white background as the optimationisation in Animation Shop will create black dithering around the elements in the tag)

ANIMATION #1

Now got to the image layer in the second smaller frame
Duplicate three times
On the first layer keep the opacity at 100%
On the remaining three lower them to:
75
50
25
Turn off the visibility of these layers leaving only the first visible

Edit / Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

In PSP
Close off first layer and open 2nd
Repeat copy

In Animation Shop
Paste AFTER current frame

Repeat steps with remaining frames, turning the last layer off so you have just a black image for the last frame

THEN
In Animation Shop
Select All Frames
Copy, then paste as new animation

Select all frames again
Animation / Reverse frames

Select all frames again
Copy and then activate LAST frame in original animation
Then paste AFTER current frame

Select all frames once again
Animation / Frame Properties
Change to 20

Save as a gif and you're done!

ANIMATION #2

Now for the second animation!

Hide the bottom Pearl String layer
Unhide the tube in the frame at whatever opacity you choose

Activate your first spider layer
Copy merged

In Animation Shop
Paste as a new animation

Repeat steps for the rest of the spiders, pasting AFTER current frame

Select All frames
Animation / Frame Properties
Change to 35

Now save as a gif and you're done!

Witch Way

Supplies

Tube of choice - I am using 68 Ways to Scream by Popeye Wong
Scrap kit of choice - I am using "Halloween Night" by Foxys Designz which is FTU
Font of choice - I am using Thriller
Plugins:
Xero / Porcelain
Photo Effex / Scanlines
Eye Candy 4000 / HSB Noise

OK, let's get started..........

Open a new transparent image 600 x 250

Paste a paper of your choice onto the canvas and position to your liking
I used Paper7_FD

Paste SpiderWeb_FD as new layer
Position to the left or to your liking
In the layer palette change the Blend Mode to Screen, then Duplicate layer
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste Spider_FD as new layer
Image / Free Rotate / Left by 20.00
Resize by 20%
Position in the web to your liking
Duplicate and set Blend Mode to Screen
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Paste Glitter_FD
No need to position it as it should fall directly in the centre

Open your tube of choice
For this I am using Popeye Wong's "68 Ways to Scream"

Paste the tube and position it to your liking
Using your Freehand Selection Tool on Point to Point draw around the excess and delete

Paste the tube again and position once again
Draw around the excess once more with your Selection Tool as above and delete the excess

Next with the Selection Tool I cut around the bat in the tube
Then I copied and paste positioning him to my liking on my canvas
Then resized him by about 70%

Paste MoonBats_FD as new layer
Resize by 35% and position partially behind one of the witches in your tube

Now go to the Glitter layer
Add a new raster layer
Choose your Selection Tool and set it to Rectangle
Draw a narrow rectangle the length of the canvas near the bottom

On your material palette select your foreground to a light colour
I used the dropper tool to pick a colour from the moon - #dddddd (which you need to do BEFORE you make your selection)
Flood fill rectangle with your colour
Deselect

Go to Effects / Plugins / PhotEffex / Scanlines
Default settings
Lower opacity to around 35

Go back to your top layer
Add a new raster layer and flood fille with the same light colour
Selections / Select All

Selections / Modify / Contract by 2
Delete the deselect

With your Magic Wand Tool select OUTSIDE this border
Activate your Recangle layer and delete
Then deselect

Now you may want to delete some of the excess of the glitter layer now with your Eraser Tool

Hide the Background, Spider Web and two border layers
Then Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

You should now have four layers -
Background, Spiderweb, Merged layer and the Border

Activate your Merged layer
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain
Default settings

Repeat Porcelain effect on Border layer
Duplicate then Layers / Merge / Merge Down

At this point I added my credits

Select a font of your choice
I am using Thriller
Make sure your foreground and background are active with the colours of your choice

I am using Black for the foreground with a stroke of 1.0
Background is #dddddd

Type out your name
Add any effects of your choice and apply a drop shadow

Repeat Porcelain effect altering the Blue Channel to 100

Now let's animate!

First hide your background layer
Then merge the other layers together

Now activate your background layer
Duplicate twice
Hide the last two and activate the first layer

Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 4000 / HSB Noise
with the following settings:

Now activate the second layer
Repeat the plugin effect changing the Random Seed

Activate the third layer and repeat again

Go over each layer with the Porcelain effect changing the Blue Channel back to 255

Now hide background layers 2 and 3 once again leaving the first background layer visible with the Merged layer

Edit / Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Paste as new animation

In PSP
Activate second background layer and Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste after Current Frame

In PSP
Activate third background later and Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Paste after Current Frame

Select all frames
ALT + Enter to open the Frame Properties box
Change to 25

Now save as a GIF and you're done!

Open an image of choice - I am using a private photo
Resize to your liking
Mine is 650 x 320

Duplicate and turn visibility off duplicate layer
On original layer With original layer active go to:

Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur
Radius - 20.00

Now activate the top layer
Select your Magic Wand with the following settings:
Selection Type: Point to Point
Mode: Add (Shift)
Feather: 5
Smoothing: 0

Now carefully draw around the subject in your image you wish to use and invert selection

Press Delete
You may need to tidy areas to your liking

On the bottom layer duplicate layer again
Go to:
Effects / Plugins / Penta.com / Dot and Cross
Default settings
The lower the opacity to 30

Activate your top layer and duplicate
Layers / Arrange / Move Down

Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur
Radius - 10.00

Activate top layer again
With your Selection Tool set to Rectangle, Feather 0
Draw out a thin rectangle towards bottom of image

Add a new raster layer
Flood fill rectangle white
Deselect
Lower opacity to 25

Add a new raster layer
Flood fill black
Select All
Selections / Modify / Contract by 2
Delete then deselect

Choose an italic font of choice in white
Type a few words of choice
Lower opacity to 40

Choose a nice bold font and type your name
Objects / Align / Horizontal Centre
Convert to raster layer

Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Eye Candy Impact / Gradient Glow

** FOR ANIMATION **

Activate the bottom (background) layer
Duplicate twice
Rename Noise 1, Noise 2 and Noise 3

On Noise 1 go to:
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 4000 / HSB Noise with the following settings:

Activate Noise 2 and repeat, changing the Random Seed

Activate Noise 3 and repeat again, changing the Random Seed once more

Hide Noise 2 and Noise 3
Edit / Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop and Paste as New Animation

Back in PSP, activate Noise 2, then Copy Merged
In Animation Shop, paste after Current Frame

Repeat for last frame

Press CTRL A to Select All Frames, then ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Change the number to 35

Save as a GIF and you're done.

A Birthday at Rainbow Bridge

This tutorial is written in honour of Tooty, Susan of Tootypup Scraps' faithful friend who went to Rainbow Bridge 6 months ago. Today marks what would have been Tooty's 18th birthday.

Supplies:

Scrap kit: "Rainbow Bridge (Part 1)" by Tootypup Scraps which can be purchased at Twilight Scraps or Aussie Scraps
Image or Tube of choice - I used one of Tooty herself by Susan of Tootypup Scraps
Fonts of choice - I used Kinkie, Valentina JF and 2 Peas Quirky
No plugins

Open a new 800 x 900 transparent image

Paste a Rainbow Bridge scene as a new layer
Resize by 80% and position it toward the bottom of your canvas

Add a drop shadow as follows:
Vertical: -5
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 20
Blur: 30
Colour: Black

Paste a rainbow of choice as new layer and position slightly to the left
Lower opacity to your liking - I used 55

Open one of the frames and paste as new layer
Resize by around 65% or to your liking and position to the left

You should have something like this:

Now with your Freehand Selection tool set to the following:
Selection type: Point to Point
Mode: Add (Shift)
Feather: 0
Smoothing: 0
Anti Alias: checked

Draw around the inside of the frame as below:

Paste a paper of choice as new layer
Layers / Arrange / Move Down
(this will move it down one layer to just beneath the frame
Resize it to your liking
Selections / Invert
Press Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Now paste a tube or image of your choice
Resize and position to your liking
If you are using a tube, duplicate and turn the visibility off this layer
Press Delete to remove excess of your tube

Turn the visibility on your duplicate layer again
Layers / Arrange / Move Up
(this will move the image above the frame)

Now on the frame layer use your Magic Wand to select inside the frame
Invert Selection
Then on your top image layer with your Eraser tool carefully erase any excess you do not want overlapping the frame, and in this case to bring the greenery over the top of the tube/image
The tube is duplicated because whatever you erase on the top layer is not erased beneath

Paste Dove as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position in upper left corner

Paste one of the blue papers as a new layer
Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom

Adjust / Blur / Motion Blur with the following settings:
Angle: 180
Strength: 100

Use your Selection Tool set to Rectangle and no feather to draw out a rectangle at the bottom of your canvas

Press delete on the bottom layer
Deselect

Layers / Merge Visible

Add a new raster layer
Flood fill with a colour of your choice
I used black

Selections / Modify / Contract by 5
Press Delete
Deselect

With your Freehand Selection tool amd using the same settings as before carefully draw out where the grass in the "scene" ends as below:

Press Delete
Deselect

Now add any text you wish, your name and credit details
Resize to your liking then save as a PNG and you're done!

Autumn Splendor

Supplies

Scrap kit - Heartfelt Perfections part of the "Fall-Ever Friends" collab available from Twilight Scraps, Scrappin Warehouse, Aussie Scraps and Heartfelt Perfections
Tube of choice
Fonts of choice
Plugins: Xero > Soft Mood

Open Deco Frame and resize to 600 x 600

With your magic wand select inside the frame

Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Paste a paper of your choice as a new layer
Resize to your liking, then
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

Now still on your paper layer
Selections > Invert
Then Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste a tube of choice as new layer
Resize as needed
Then press Delete again to remove excess
Deselect

On same layer
Effects > Plugins > Xero > Soft Mood
Apply default settings

Activate top layer

Paste a bow of choice as new layer
Resize by about 50% or to your liking
Position on or below the flowers on the Frame to your liking
Apply a drop shadow of choice

** Optional **

To make it look as though the bow is tucked below the flower, open "flower" element
Paste as new layer
Resize by 28%
Position over the middle flower carefully to hide the already existing one

Go to Adjust > Brightness & Contrast > Brightness/Contrast with the following settings:
Brightness - 20
Contrast - 11
OK

With your eraser, carefully erase some of the excess of the top flower

Now paste Leaves as a new layer
Resize by 50%
Position to the left and toward the top
Duplicate
Move second layer down slightly

Now Image > Canvas Size
700 x 700 centre checked

Add a new layer and move to bottom
Flood fill this white

Choose a paper of choice and paste as new layer
Apply a mask of you choice
I am using WSL_Mask328
Layers > Merge Group
Position mask directly behind frame
Lower opacity to around 50

You can either keep or delete the white background
(I prefer to remove it for a transparent background, except for animation)

Add your copyright and licence information
At this point, you can also add your name and whatever other text you choose

I used KonTikiTraderJF font at size 90
Colour - #a94605
Then I applied Photo Effex > Scanlines,
Then EC Impact > Gradient Glow
Glow Colour - #ffdf30
Then a slight drop shadow

Merge layers visible

NoW...for animation (which is entirely optional)

Paste Single Leaf as a new layer
Resize by 15%, then again by 70%
Duplicate
Image > Rotate to your liking

Duplicate again
Repeat rotation of choice (changing rotation)
Repeat another three times

You should now have FIVE leaf layers
Rename them 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
Position them on the tag to your liking

Hide all layers but 1
Layers > Copy Merged

Paste as new image

Hide Layer 1 and unhide 2
Layers > Copy Merged
On new image, paste as new layer

Repeat till you have copied layers into a new image
You should have FIVE complete layers

Save as PSP Animation file (some versions might also call this a PSP 7 Animation file .psp) somewhere you can locate it

Minimse PSP and open Animation Shop
File > Open and browse for the image you just saved

The file will now open with FIVE frames

Press CTRL A to Select All
Then ALT + Enter to bring up the frame properties
Change to 40
OK

Then save through the Optimization Wizard and you're done!

Wrathchild

Supplies

Scrap kit "Wrathchild" by me (Designs by Stina) available from all my stores
Poser by Butterfly Web Graphics (included in the kit)
Mask of choice
Fonts of choice
Plugins: dsb Fluxx > Linear Transmission
Eye Candy 4000 > Drip

Open a new 800 x 800 transparent image
Flood fill white

Paste a paper of choice as new layer

Paste one of the round Frames as a new layer
With your Selection Tool set to Ellipse carefully draw out a circle around the confines of the frame

Selections > Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste a "scene" of choice as a new layer
Position to the far left
Delete to remove excess

Paste any other elements you wish to the background
Resize as necessary
Then delete once more to remove excess

Repeat those steps till you have everything in place inside the Frame
Then Deselect

Still beneath the Frame layer
Paste one of the Wrathchild posers as a new layer
Resize only slightly by around 90%
Position EXACTLY where you want it
Duplicate,
Then Layers > Arrange > Move Up
(to the layer above the frame)

With your Eraser Tool carefully erase the top of the girl's head where the roses on the frame are

Paste a paper of choice as a new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Apply a Mask of choice
Then Merge Group

Effects > Plugins > dsb Fluxx > Linear Transmission with the following settings:

Lower opacity to around 45

Resize image to 600 x 600

Now back to the top layer
Paste one of the Cleavers as a new layer and rotate so that it is lengthways
Then select your Pick Tool
In the Mode, select Shear (shift)

Using the top nodes bring the top part of the image in and down
This will allow you to distort it to perspective (see below)

Position the cleaver to your liking

Select your Pen Tool
Set your Foreground colour in your materials palette to a red colour
Line width: 5.00
Select the Draw Lines and Polylines button
Connect Segments: checked
Create on Vector: checked
Show Nodes: checked

Now along the edge of your blade draw short point to points with your Tool till you get to the end of the blade
The shorter the points between nodes, the smoother the curve

Layers > Convert to Raster Layer

Duplicate these lines THREE times, rename them Blood1, Blood2 and Blood2

Now to apply the blood

On first Blood layer (Blood1)
Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > Drip with the following settings:

Hide Blood1 and activate Blood2
Repeat the drip effect, changing the Random Seed

Hide Blood2 and activate Blood3
Repeat the drip effect again, changing the Random Seed

Now before we animate, let's apply our credits and any licencing
Then add your name in a font of your choice

Now....let's animate!

Hide Blood2 and Blood2
Edit > Copy Merged
Paste as a new image

Hide Blood1 and activate Blood2
Edit > Copy Merged
On the new image paste as a new layer

Hide Blood2 and activate Blood3
Edit > Copy Merged
Again on the new image paste as a new layer

Now save as PSP animation file somewhere handy

Open Animation Shop, then open the animation image you just saved
You will have THREE frames

CTRL + A to Select All
ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Change to 35
Then save through Optimisation

You're done!!

Emergence

Supplies

Scrap kit - "What Lies in the Ruins" by Tootypup Scraps available from Twilight Scraps
Image of choice
Fonts of choice
Plugins: Scanlines > Photo Effex
Eye Candy > HSB Noise

Open a new transparent image 600 x 600
Flood fill white

Paste Brick Arch as new layer
Resize by 50%

Paste an image of choice as a new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

With your Lasso Tool set to Point to Point
Feather: 1
Draw around the inside of the bricks of Arch
Selections > Invert
Delete

Paste OldChurch1 as new layer
Position along bottom of Arch below image

With your Eraser Tool carefully erase the church leaving only part of the Ivy along the bottom of your new Frame

Now we need to remove any unseen excess from the church
So select your Arch layer again
Selections > Select All
Then Image > Crop to Selection

Now when we move or flip the Ivy layer we won't get the rest of the church that exceed the outside of the canvas

So back to your Ivy layer
Duplicate
Image > Flip, then Image > Mirror
Position Duplicate with first Ivy layer, then
Image > Arrange > Move Down
Merge these two layers as one

Paste one of the Lamps as a new layer
Resize by 37%
Position to the left

Paste a Stone Seat as new layer
Resize by 33%
Position at the bottom of Lamp

I then moved the Ivy layer over the bottom of the Lamppost

Paste one of the Cats as a new layer
Resize by 18%
Position in front of the Stone Bench to your liking

Now paste Cobwebs as a new layer
Resize by 25% and position to the top of your Arch
(you can move them below the arch if you wish or just below the lamp)
With your Eraser Tool carefully erase the excess cobwebs from the outside of the arch frame

Paste a Graveyard Ghost as a new layer
Resize by 70%
Position to the lower left partially behind the Lamppost and the Bench
Lower opacity to 50

Activate your image layer again
Duplicate
On your bottom image layer select the Pick Tool
Using the nodes drag the left and right to your liking

Effects > Plugins > Photo Effex > Scanlines (default settings)

Enter your copyright and licencing if required
Type out your name and apply any effects you wish

NOW....for the animation (optional)

Activate the Ghost layer
Duplicate twice and rename Ghost1, Ghost2 and Ghost3

Hide Ghost2 and 3 and Activate Ghost1

Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > HSB Noise with the following settings:

Hide Ghost1 and activate Ghost2
Repeat the effect, altering the Random Seed

Hide Ghost2 and activate Ghost3
Repeat effect once again, altering the Random Seed

Now hide Ghost2 and 3 once more

Edit > Copy Merged
Paste as new image

Hide Ghost1 and activate Ghost2
Edit > Copy Merged
Paste as new layer (on the new image)

Hide Ghost2 and activate Ghost3
Edit > Chopy Merged
Paste as new layer (on the new image)

You should now have THREE full layers

Save as a PSP animation shop image

Open Animation Shop and browse for the image you just saved

Image will open in THREE frames
CTRL + A to Select All
ALT + Enter to open Frame Properties
Change to 25

Save as animation and you're done!

Let's begin...

Open a blank transparent image 800 x 600

Open Frame05 and paste as new layer
Leave in place

Select inside Frame with Magic Wand
Selections > Modify
Then Expand by 10

Open Paper16 and paste as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Move to Bottom
Resize by 35%
Selections > Invert
Then Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Open your tube of choice and paste as new layer
Resize to your liking
Then Delete to remove excess outside selection
Deselect

Duplicate your tube layer
On the bottom copy Adjust > Blur > Guassian Blur
Set your Radius to 10.00
Lower opacity to 55

Duplicate this layer
Then Effects > Textures > Mosaic - Antique with the following settings:

Then, Adjust > Blur > Motion Blur
Angle - 140.00
Strength - 100

Activate your paper layer again (bottom layer)
Select OUTSIDE layer with your Magic Wand
On your Blurred layer, press Delete
Then on your Mosaic layer, Delete again
Deselect

Activate top layer
Paste Feather as new layer
Resize by 65%
Position to the left of the Frame with the spine of the feather running along the swirl of the Frame

Paste a Flower as new layer
Image > Rotate by 20 to the right
Resize by 30%
Position to the right of the Frame

Open a Ribbon and paste as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position along bottom of Frame

Open THREE charms of your choice
Resize each by 20%
Position each of them at the knots on the Ribbon
Merge Charms as one layer
Then Layer > Arrange > Move Down
(this will position them the layer below the Ribbon)

Paste a GlitterSplat of choice as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position between 1st and 2nd charms over Ribbon

Paste Heart of choice as new layer
Image > Rotate by 10 to the right
Resize by 18%
Position to the right, then Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Position to your liking

Duplicate Heart
Image > Rotate by 20 to the right
Resize by 60%
Position slightly below first heart

Paste Moon as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position to the upper left

Paste Heart of choice again
Resize by 85%
Move Heart down slightly

Effects > Plugins > dsb fluxx > Linear Transmission with the following settings:

Crop and resize image to your liking

Add your watermark and credits, and any word art or text of your choice
Add your name (I used Eye Candy Gradient Glow on my name)
Save your tag as a PNG (to remain transparent) and you're done!

Open a new 750 x 500 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste Frame03 as new layer
No need to resize

Select inside of Frame with Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 5
Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Selections > Invert
Delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste Tube (or image) of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position
Delete excess and deselect

Paste BloodDrip as new layer
Resize by 73%
Position along bottom of Frame
With your Selection Tool make a selection around the excess WITHIN the Frame and edging

Delete then deselect

Paste Tree as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position to the right

Grab your Selection Tool and make a selection from the bottom of the Frame and around the bottom of the tree
Delete then deselect

Paste Flower02 as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position to the lower right

Paste LilFlower as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position alongside Flower02

Easy animation tutorial

Let's begin...

Open a new 750 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste Frame2 as new layer
Resize by 45%

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Paste Frame3 as new layer
Resize by 45%

Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:

Duplicate, then set blend mode to Multiply
Lower opacity to 60
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Now open your Layer Palette
Click ONCE on the Layer Link Toggle
Activate your first frame and click the Layer Link Toggle again

This will LOCK the layers so you can move them both together

Move layers to the left
Click Layer Link Toggle twice again on both layers to UNLOCK them

Duplicate Frame2, then Image > Mirror

Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Duplicate Frame3 and Image > Mirror also
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Rename Frame layers PURPLE FRAMEs and ORANGE FRAMES
Hide ORANGE FRAMES and let's work with the PURPLE FRAMES

Select inside frames with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Add a new raster layer
Flood fill black
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste a Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary
Delete surrounding excess
Deselect

Effects > Plugins > Xero > Radiance with default settings

Choose the stitching you wish to use and paste it as a new layer to your working canvas

Position in the join toward top of the two Frames
Duplicate three more times and position along join

Layers > Merge > Merge Down till all stitching is one layer

Paste Cat as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position between frames towards bottom
Duplicate then set blend mode to Multiply
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy 4000 > Gradient Glow with the following settings:

Paste Spider as new layer
Image > Mirror
Resize by 55%
Position to the left

Duplicate, then Image > Mirror

Delete

Activate your Cauldron layer
Add three new raster layers and name them Cauldron1, Cauldron2 and Cauldron3

With your Freehand Tool draw a selection around the top of your Cauldron where you want it "bubbling"

Hide Cauldron1 and activate Cauldron2
Repeat Smoke, adjusting Random Seed

Activate one of the Pumpkins

Scrap kit of choice - I am using "Spookylicious" by Schnegge available from Twilight Scraps
Tube of choice - I am using the lovely artwork of Morbidia Morthel from whom you need written permission

Fonts of choice - I am using LD Twylight and LiorahBT
Plugins: Simple > Top Left Mirror
Xero > Improver and Radiance

Let's begin...

Open a new 750 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste Frame06 as new layer

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:

Select inside the Frames with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 70%
Selections > Invert
Delete
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste three images or tubes as new layers
Resize as necessary and position inside frames
Delete excess
Deselect

Merge them as one layer (for now)

Duplicate images and set the blend mode of the originals to Luminance (Legacy)
Lower the opacity of the duplicates to around 40 - 50 (depending on colours)

Effects > Plugins > Xero > Improver with the default settings

Duplicate again

Effects > Plugins > Xero > Radiance with default settings
Lower opacity to 20

Hide your Background and Frame, leaving ONLY the image layers visible
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible
Unhide layers again

Now we are going to promote each image into a layer again
Select your first Frame with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10

Activate image
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer
Deselect

Select middle Frame and repeat above step
Repeat same with the third Frame also
Rename each promoted layer for identification - ONE, TWO and THREE

Paste Dead Bush as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Position to the right

Image > Mirror
Effects > Plugins > Simple > Top Left Mirror

Activate top layer

Paste Chain as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position to the left
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Duplicate again and place in the centre between the two chains
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Repeat to become one layer

Paste Skulls as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position to your liking
Repeat Hue & Saturation as above

Paste Pumpkin02 as new layer
Resize by 25%
Duplicate and repeat Hue & Saturation as above
Lower opacity to 50
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Position to liking
Duplicate again, then Image > Mirror
Resize by 70%
Position alongside larger pumpkin

Paste Coffin as new layer
Image > Rotate by 10 to the right
Resize by 55%
Position to the right
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Duplicate, then Image > Rotate by 10 to the left
Layers > Arrange Move Down
Positin BEHIND first coffin
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Lower opacity to 20

Paste a Moon of choice as new layer
Send to Bottom
Resize as necessary

Colourise with a Hue & Saturation set to 0
Adjust > Brightness & Contrast
Brightness - 50
Contrast - 0

Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur with a radius of around 10.00
Lower opacity to around 40

Crop and resize to liking

Select Text Tool and fonts of choice
I am using LD Twylight and LiorahBT
Text colour is Black

Type out your text of choice and position to liking
Best to type each "line" as separate vectors and then convert each layer to raster - that way you can move them around and position to liking
Apply any effects and drop shadow of choice
Lower opacity to 5 and 15

Select another font of choice
I am using Centime
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply any effect and drop shadow of choice

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Activate your ONE, TWO and THREE layers
Set the blend mode of each to Screen, then
Lower the opacity to 75

Activate ONE and hide the other two
Edit > Copy Merged

Let's begin...

Open a new 600 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste BlackRose as new layer
Resize by 15%

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Effects > Plugins > Mura Meister > Copies with the following settings:

Paste Pumpkin as new layer
Resize by 20%

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Repeat Mura Meister > Copies with the same settings
Resize by 105%
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Select inside your new Frame
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Add a new raster layer
Flood fill black
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

KEEP SELECTED!!

Add a new raster layer
Select your Materials Palette
Open Material Properties and select Gradients tab
Find your NGBlackBlue Gradient
Invert CHECKED

OK
Flood fill layer
Deselect
Lower opacity to 50
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste Moon and Bats as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position in upper corner to liking
Duplicate

Activate bottom copy
Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur with a radius of 20.00

Select the area outside the paper background layer
Selections > Invert
Activate both Moon layers and press delete

KEEP SELECTED!!

Paste Witch Silouhette as new layer
Image > Rotate by 5 to the left
Resize by 25%
Position to the left
Duplicate three times and position them across the width from the left to right
Delete the overhanging excess from the first and last witches

Name them Witch1, Witch2, witch3 and Witch4
Hide them for now - we'll come back to them for the animation

Activate top layer

Paste your Tube as new layer
Resize as necessary and position to liking

Paste Spider Web as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom
Resize by 90%

Adjust > Blur > Radial Blur with the following settings:

Duplicate, then Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Resize layer by 95%

Crop and resize tag
Image > Canvas Resize 520 x 520

Effects > Texture Effects > Antique - Mosaic with the following settings:

Select your Preset Shape Tool and set to Ellipse
Foreground - #000000
Background - null
Width - 2.00

Hold your shift key down and draw out a circle around your tag
Use the nodes to resize circle to liking

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Valken
Foreground - #000000
Background - #eb6602 (to match tag)
Stroke width 2.00

Type out text of choice on curve and position to liking

Open Layer Palette and Vector Layer
Close off Ellipse and convert to raster layer

Effects > Plugins > Greg's Factory Output II > Pool Shadow with default settings
Repeat Pool Shadow effect again, adjusting the top six slides to 100

Activate top layer

Select another font of choice
I am using CaseConected
Same text colours
Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer

Repeat above Pool Shadow ONCE
Apply drop shadow of choice

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

OK activate Witch1 and keep the remaining three hidden
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop

Hide Witch1 and activate Witch2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Witch2 and activate Witch3
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Witch3 and activate Witch4
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Back to PSP
Hide Witch4 so none of them are visible
Edit > Copy Merged

Select All, then change Frame Properties to 40

Frame01 should be on top with the broom over the bottom corner of right Frame

Select inside the two outer Frames with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Resize by 75%
Selections > Invert
Delete then deselect

Select inside the middle Frame with Magic Wand

Delete then deselect

Resize by 25%
Position between left and middle Frames

Paste Kooky Spider as new layer
Resize by 30%
Position to liking

Paste Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position to your liking

Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply DBV_Mask02

Layers > Merge > Merge Group
Lower opacity to 60

Crop and resize

Still on Mask Layer
Effects > dsb Flux > Linear Transmission with the following settings:

Select Text Tool and fonts of choice
I am using BoneHymie and CarpenterScript

Add three new raster layers and rename them Cauldron1, Cauldron2 and Cauldron3

With your Freehand Tool draw out a selection where you want the pot to bubble
Selections > Invert (YOU MUST INVERT!!)

Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Nature > Smoke with the following settings:

Hide Cauldron1 and activate Cauldron2
Repeat Smoke effect, adjusting the Random Seed

Hide Cauldron2 and activate Cauldron3
Repeat Smoke Effect again, adjusting the Random Seed once more

Deselect

Now activate your Black Cat layers
Select the green eyes with your Magic Wand (Tolerance around 40)
Selections > Modify > Expand by 2

Add a new raster layer and name it CatsEyes
Flood fill with #0e0e0e and deselect

Now to animate!

Turn off the CatsEyes and activate Cauldron1
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Hide Cauldron1 and activate Cauldron2
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Hide Cauldron2 and activate Cauldron3
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Activate CatsEyes and Cauldron1 again
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Hide Cauldron1 and activate Cauldron2
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Template 86 by Kristin
Shift D to duplicate then close off original
Delete copyright layer

Image > Canvas Resize 700 x 600 centred

Select RECTANGLE1 with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2
Paste Paper of choice INTO Selection
Deselect

Select RECTANGLE2 with your Magic Wand
Repeat above step

Now activate RECTANGLE3
This time select the greyed area of this layer ONLY until each one has been selected

Paste Paper of choice INTO selection
Then deselect

Activate FRAME BACK
Select the Lighter Pink with your Magic Wand as you did with RECTANGLE3
Once they are all selected activate your Background layer, then
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer

KEEP SELECTED!!

Move the promoted layer up to the layer BELOW your FRAME BACK

Activate FRAME BACK AGAIN, then press delete

STILL SELECTED!!

You should now see white lines through the FRAME BACK

Activcate your White layer below
Add new raster layer
Now paste paper of choice INTO selection
Then deselect
Lower opacity to 50
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Activate FRAME BACK again
Now select the darker pink areas till all are selected
Paste SAME Paper INTO selection
Deselect

Paste Frame as new layer
Resize by 50%
Move down slightly to position

You should now have something like this:

Paste a couple of Pumpkins of choice as new layers
Resize by 20 - 30% and position to liking

Paste a Bat as new layer
Resize by 20%
Duplicate and position

Paste a Ghost as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position behind FRAME BACK layers

Paste Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position

Use your Selection Tool to make a selection around the bottom of your Tube along the edge of the Frame
Delete then deselect

Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply vaybs_mask_050805
OK
Layers > Merge > Merge Group

Crop and resize

Still on Mask Layer
Effects > Plugins > dsb Flux > Linear Transmission with the following settings:

Adjust > Hue & Saturation > Colourise with the following settings:

Paste Pumpkin as new layer
Resize by 45%
Position to the lower left
Duplicate, then resize by 70%
Position alongside first pumpkin

Duplicate Pumpkin1 again
Resize by 80%
Position to the lower right below Ghost

Paste Moon01 as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Paste Moon02 as new layer
It should fall directly on top of Moon01

Set blend mode to Soft Light
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Set your Eraser Tool to:
Size - 100
Hardness - 10

Erase the bottom of cloud where it darkened when merging the two layers

Paste Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position to liking

Crop and resize tag

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using Whackadoo Upper
Text colour is Black

Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Add the same Gradient Glow as above and drop shadow of choice

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Paste Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary

Let's begin...

Open a new 750 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste Frame1 as new layer
Resize by 50%
Position to the right
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Use your Selection Tool and draw a rectangle around each Frame
Add new raster layer
Layers > Arrange > Move Down
Paste Paper of choice INTO selection

KEEP SELECTED!!

Activate Background layer
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer

Lower opacity of paper to 85 or 90
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Effects > Plugins > Xero > Soft Mood with default settings

Paste Flower1 as new layer
Resize by 20%
Position in the centrepoint between the two Frames
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror
Position slightly above
Duplicate again, and position below
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Repeat once more

Paste IronElement1 as new layer
Resize by 33%
Position to the lower right
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror

Make a selection around your Frame
Selections > Invert
Erase any excess and deselect
Set blend mode to Soft Light
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror

Paste HeartElement as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Select Pick Tool (Deformation Tool in some versions) and use nodes to resize down and outwards to surround Frame

Duplicate and activate bottom copy
Resize by 95%

Adjust > Blur > Radial Blur with the following settings:

Move Blurred layer up slightly
Duplicate, then Image > Flip
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Lower opacity to around 40

Crop and resize

Add any other elements you wish
I added a Butterfly and rotated it by 30 to the left and resized it by 10%
Duplicate and Image > Mirror and positioned both to liking

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using BickhamScriptFancy
Text colour is black
Type out text of choice (I wrote LUST)
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a drop shadow of choice

Select another font for quote/definition
I am using MonteCarloScript
Type out quote
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a drop shadow of choice

Select another font of choice
I am using MonteCarloScript
Same Text colour
Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer
Apply a Gradient Glow and drop shadow of choice

On your Tube layer set the opacity to 10
Activate City2
Edit > Copy Merged

Set the opacity of your Tube to 25
Activate City3
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop

Edit > Paste after Current Frame

Set the opacity of your Tube to 50
Activate City1 again
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop

Edit > Paste after Current Frame

Set the opacity of your Tube to 75
Activate City2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop

Edit > Paste after Current Frame

Set the opacity of your Tube to 100
Activate City3
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop

Edit > Paste after Current Frame

Now repeat the above steps lowering the opacity from 100 back down to 0 whilst activating each City layer with each step

You should end up with 12 Frames
Select All, then change the Frame Properties to 20

You should no have EIGHT Frames

Select all then paste as new animation
Select all again then go to
Animation > Reverse Frames

Frames should still all be selected so COPY
Then on your original animation activate LAST frame, then
Paste after Current Frame

You should now have a total of 16 Frames
Select All and change Frame Properties to 20
Save as a gif and you're done!

Let's begin...

Open a new 600 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste RubyStar as new layer
Resize by 50%

LEAVE IN POSITION!!

Effects > Plugins > Mura Meister > Copies with the following settings:

Paste Journal1 as new layer
Resize by 35%

Paste Glitpprborder as new layer
Resize by 60%
Position towards bottom of Journal layer

Paste Floral2 as new layer
Image > Rotate by 15 to the left
Resize by 35%
Position to the lower left
Duplicate, then Image > Mirror

Paste some Blood Spatter and move to bottom layer

Paste Tube of choice as new layer
Resize as necessary and position

Depending on the tube you use you may have to do the following steps:

Select outside the Journal tag layer with your Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Feather by 2
Use your Eraser Tool to erase excess
Deselect

Now paste the Apple as new layer
Resize by 25% and position to the lower left or right (depending on your tube) BEHIND your Tube layer

Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image
Apply sg_feather-edge
Ok
Layers > Merge > Merge Group
Resize by 86%
Lower opacity to 50

Crop and resize to 500 x 500

Image > Canvas Resize 550 x 550

Make sure the background colour is white

Select your Preset Shape Tool and set to Ellipse
Foreground - #000000
Background - null

Hold your shift key and draw out a Circle around your tag
(holding shift ensures the shape is drawn symmetrically)
Objects > Align > Centre in Canvas

Select your Text Tool and font of choice
I am using LD Twylight
Text colour black

On the curve type out your text of choice

Open your Layer Palette and Vector Layer
Close off the Ellipse then convert to raster layer
Lower opacity to 35

Select another font of choice
I am using A&S Snapper Script

Type out your name
Objects > Align > Horizontal Centre in Canvas
Convert to raster layer

Effects > Plugins > Eye Candy > Gradient Glow with the following settings:

Finally, add your © copyright, licence and watermark, then save as a GIF or JPG and you're done!

Activate your Tube layer and zoom in on the eyes

Select your Magic Wand and click once in the pupils of each eye
It will only be a very small area as we don't want too much

Add a new raster layer

Effects > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact > Gradient Glow with the following settings:

Deselect

Set blend mode to Screen then duplicate
Rename Eyes1 and Eyes2

Now to animate!

Hide Eyes2 keeping Eyes1 visible
Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop
Edit > Paste as New Animation

Activate Eyes2
Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop
Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Select All and change Frame Properties to 50
Now save as a GIF and you're done!

Let's begin...

Open a new 750 x 500 blank canvas flood-filled white

In your Materials Palette set your Foreground to #000000

Select your Selection Tool to Rounded Rectangle

Draw out a rectangle to your liking

Add a new raster layer

Flood fill with your Foreground colour

KEEP SELECTED!!

Selections > Modify > Contract by 15

Press delete then deselect

Effect > Plugins > Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact > Glass with the following settings:

Select inside your new Frame with your Magic Wand

Selections > Modify > Expand by 8

Paste a paper of choice as new layer

Layers > Arrange > Move Down (below Frame)

Resize by 70%

Selections > Invert

Delete then deselect

Paste RedChromeSwirl as new layer

Resize by 50%

Position to the lower right

Duplicate then Image > Mirror

Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste HeartEmb3 as new layer

Image > Rotate by 30 to the left

Resize by 33%

Position at the centre of the Chrome Swirls

Paste RedRibbonIvy as new layer

Resize by 80%

Position slightly to the left

Select your Eraser Tool and carefully erase the excess ribbon and ivy

So you have something a little like this:

Paste Floral5 as new layer

Image > Mirror

Image > Rotate by 6 to the left

Resize by 30%

Position along the bottom of the heart, swirl and frame

Use your erase to remove excess stem

Paste Apple as new layer

Resize by 15%

Position beside heart

Paste HeartEmb1 as new layer

Image > Rotate by 5 to the right

Resize by 12%

Duplicate, then Image > Mirror

Position them in the upper right

Select inside the RibbonFrame with your Magic Wand

Selections > Modify > Expand by 2

Paste Image of choice as new layer

Resize as necessary and position

Selections > Invert

Delete excess and deselect

Duplicate layer

Effects > Plugins > Xero > Radiance with the default settings

Lower opacity to 50

Paste Paper of choice as new layer

Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image

Apply UFMask4

Layers > Merge > Merge Group

Lower opacity to 35

Effects > Plugins > PhotoEffex > Scanlines with default setting

Crop and resize to liking

Select your Text Tool and font of choice

I am using Bickham Script Pro Regular

Text Colour to match tag - I am using #400000

Type out text of choice

Position to liking then convert to raster layer

Select another font of choice

I am using the same script

Text colour slightly lighter - #860c0e

Type out name and position

Convert to raster layer

Effects > Plugins > Greg Factory Output2 > Pool Shadow

Activate your Mask layer

Duplicate twice and name Shadow1, Shadow2 and Shadow3

Activate Shadow1

Effects > Plugins > Greg Factory Output 2 > Pool Shadow with the following settings:

Hide Shadow1 and activate Shadow2

Repeat Shadow effect, adjusting the settings from 70 to 90

Hide Shadow2 and activate Shadow3

Repeat Shadow effect, adjusting from 90 to 110

Now to animate!

Activate Shadow1 and hide the other two Shadow layers

Edit > Copy Merged

Open Animation Shop

Edit > Paste as New Animation

Back to PSP

Hide Shadow1 and activate Shadow2

Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Back to PSP

Hide Shadow2 and activate Shadow3

Edit > Copy Merged

In Animation Shop

Edit > Paste After Current Frame

Select all and change Frame Properties to 30

Let's begin...

Open a new 600 x 600 blank canvas flood-filled white

Paste a Frame of choice as new layer
Resize by 50%
(you can either choose a plain one to decorate yourself or a predecorated one)

Select inside Frame with Magic Wand
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Add new raster layer
Paste Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Move Down

KEEP SELECTED!!

Activate Background
Layers > Promote Selection to Layer
Reduce opacity of Paper to around 50
Layers > Merge > Merge Down
Deselect

Activate top layer

Paste some Gumnuts as new layer
Image > ROtate by 10 to the right
Resize by 35%
Position to the upper right of Frame

Paste Fence1 as new layer
Resize by 75%
Position along bottomg of Frame

Use your Freehand Tool to make a selection around the excess

Then delete and deselect

Paste Wattle as new layer
Resize by 40%
Position to the lower right

Paste some more Gumnuts of choice as new layer
Resize by around 25%
Position to the lower right below the wattle

Paste tube of choice as new layer and move below Frame layer
Resize UP if needed

Select the inside of Frame again
Selections > Modify > Expand by 10
Position Tube slightly off centre
Selections > Invert

Delete then deselect
Lower opacity to liking

Paste Gumnut Chain as new layer
Resize by 20%
Position to the lower right along bottom railing of Fence
Duplicate then Image > Mirror
Position to liking, then erase excess from end of Fence
Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Paste a Gumnut as new layer
Resize by 25%
Position and the foot of the Fence

Paste a Heart as new layer
Image > Rotate by 15 to the left
Resize by 20%
Duplicate and Mirror a few times
Position behind gumnuts along fence

Paste your Tube as new layer
Resize as necessary and position slightly off centre

Paste a Paper of choice as new layer
Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

Layers > New Mask Layer > From Image

Resize layer by 85%
